Don’t listen to the negative Reviews! I use a Milwaukee industrial SDS pull 8 joules and this has held up really well! It’s been hammered though hard stone walls and it’s still sharp and still going strong. Works great with a wall chaser set to the same size!Best £40 you’ll spend! A must have for the SDS tool box

Works wonders with block in conjunction with a chaser. Well worth the money

Bought for the sole purpose of channelling a wall ready for electrical cables, i stumbled across a video for this product on youtube and it seemed to good to be true. In the video the drill literally glides through the wall as if it was butter leaving a perfect channel behind.I can confirm it does in fact work in this way, yes you have to use a little bit of force as when making any hole with a drill but it makes a tedious job 1000% easier. For even more ease use a grinder to make the lines first, but even without it does it quickly and effectively. Please be aware you need an SDS drill with a hammer only function, this one has worked brilliantly for me:Hitachi DH26PX 26mm 240V SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill and Side HandleUnfortunately after only channelling a few walls the bit snapped which Amazon quickly resolved hence only 4 stars. Otherwise believe the hype it is fantastic.

i spent hours with a hammer and chisel knocking bits of brick and plaster out of a chase, this did it in minutesi did however get it stuck when my channelling was a bit crooked, and when i mean stuck, it needed hammering out, totally my fault but in case you are using this to clear out a channel you've already cut rather than just using it for a new channel it's good to knowplaster it turns to dustconcrete block it turns to dustbricks it turns into little chunksand everything gets everywhere so the only downside is the mess it makes, but well worth it for the hours and hours of back breaking work it saves

Best chisel bit I own

Good value for money and easy to use.

Used the bit to cut a channel in an internal wall made of brick and a soft old render. Cut a lovely channel of about 2m but then the shaft snapped at the point it enters the SDS drill. No undue pressure was being used and I was shocked to see it happen. I completed the job using a normal chisel bit which has never let me down. This was the first time for me to use this bit. It looks the business but the material just isn’t tough enough as indicated by other reviewers.
