Fits lots of tea, perfect for “normal” wrapped tea bags
A tidy-looking and substantial tea organizer. Pretty hardware, solid construction, lovely wood. The compartments are a perfect fit for the standard size of individually-wrapped bag that most of my bagged tea comes in, though larger bags have to go in sideways, and the oversized Harney sample bags still stick out and get a little crushed when you close the box. Each compartment is big enough to hold 16 tea bags (or more) comfortably in the vertical position, depending on how full the bags are. For some varieties of tea, that’s a whole box, so that’s convenient. The magnets to hold the lid shut are strong enough to keep it closed even when the box is turned upside down, which is nice. If you were planning on putting this in a specific place, the measurements in the listing are accurate. (Mine is about 9.5” x 7.5” x 4.5” as measured with a ruler.) While it’s being sold as a tea box, this would alternately make a neat-looking organizer for craft supplies. Also, the box was packed well, but somehow it still came with a nick and splinter in the top (see photo). As another reviewer noted, there’s glue visible in the top, around the edges of the clear plastic. And if you’re sensitive to smells, this does come with a smell (varnish? stain?) and may need to be aired out for a bit before you use it.Not perfect, but rather nice, and great for freeing up shelf space (so you can fill it with more tea, of course).

Beautifully made
We often have guests who prefer tea. This product is a classy and attractive way to make tea available. This would also be a great addition to a workplace break area, a church “coffee hour” set up, or any number of situations in which a passive tea or beverage offering is desirable. The good: This is remarkably well made. It is using dovetail corners and features high-precision manufacturing details. There is a pretty good chance that sifting through the remnants of one’s post-apocalypse house, this may be the one item that emerges unscathed. Ok, that’s probably an exaggeration - but the build quality is a nice observation. The glass lid provides a classic touch, and features nice, smooth hinges and hardware. The hardware is not the heaviest duty, but it really doesn’t need to be. It is adequate for the task. The darker finish suggests class while leaving the beauty of the wood grain as a prominent feature. This tea holder and sorter is beautiful to display even if it has nothing in it (fill it with tea bags of choice - no need to just take up space).Opportunities for improvement: The lid has little magnetic closers - on the one hand a very nice touch. But they could be a little weaker (yes, weaker - less magnetic attractive force). As it is, it can be an effort to open the lid. There are a few little marks or imperfections in the edges and finish. At ~ $30 for the product, these were so minor that I didn’t even ding the “star” score. Had this been a more expensive product then that may have started to detract. Little felt pads for “feet” would be a nice touch, but again, not of huge importance.Bottom line: This item looks great and adds a touch of class to the coffee/tea bar. It is very functional, but may take a little getting used to in terms of the magnetic closures. That said, those do negate the need for an unsightly latch. So this has clean lines, a beautiful finish, and a solid build. Very nice value at its price point.

Elegant storage solution, smelled bad at first
A very nicely designed storage solution for those who like to have multiple kinds of tea around. When we first opened the package it smelled as though the box was freshly varnished and we had to let it air out in the garage for a couple days before the smell dissipated. After that, it's been a very nice addition to our tea collection and making it easy to separate out the different flavors we have. The lid clamps magnetically, which is nice as well, and the top being clear gives you an at-a-glance way to see how much you have left of everything. Each section within the box holds regular sized individually packaged tea bags with just enough space, not too small and without extra space around the edges.

I’ve Wanted a Tea Bag Organizer for a Long Time. Now I Have a Good One!
I love drinking all kinds of teas (including even Lapsang Souchong), and usually I have them all stuffed in a cardboard box in my pantry. I’ve wanted to get a tea organizer for a long time, and when I saw this one from Kiteiscat, I ordered it. It looked really nice: made of wood and carefully constructed. So I looked forward to getting it.When I finally came I was very pleased with it, with only one small (resolvable) exception. The wood is beautiful to look at and the build is very nice. I like the mortise and tenon joints on the front of the box (the rear is just nailed and glued, but that doesn’t get the pulling that the front does). The lid is sturdy with very nice sunken hinges. The lid also has two small magnets which help to keep it closed. That’s helpful when you move the box around on the counter – the lid doesn’t pop up.The box is divided into six compartments made from three interlocking panels (made from native Acacia wood). That’s nice because they’re physically locked together which means that they won’t fall apart even if the glue fails.Ah, the glue…that’s the resolvable problem I mentioned above. The interior of the box stank of the glue used to hold it together. I had to just sit this on the counter with the lid open to air it out. Now that it’s been open for three days the glue smell has mostly gone, but I’m going to give it some more time before I put tea in it and seal it up. But this “issue” is resolving itself, and that doesn’t keep me from recommending this tea box to you. I’m glad that I have it!

Beautiful Box for Tea Bags
This is a beautiful box to store your tea bags in. It's well-made, sturdy, and looks fantastic. We used to keep our tea bags in their original boxes, in a plastic bin, etc. This organizes them all better and offers an amazing presentation, especially for guests. The photos show the tea bags all face-up, but I store mine standing up so they don't slide around. But I guess you could see the fronts of them better the other way. The box holds a lot of bags. It's a great gift for someone...or for yourself!
