My wife loves it. Previous reviews said it fell off, etc. this will not work if it isn't mounted properly. I removed a section of wall on the opposite wall to install a piece of 2x4 between studs, well glued to the backer board and nailed to the studs. I also filled the metal studs on the mounts with construction adhesive. It is solid.

I adore this shave bar. I purchased mine 5 years ago when having my bathroom remodeled. 5 years later, it still looks and works great. I'll never have a shower without a shave bar ever again. And I'd definitely get this one again, as well.My contractor installed it since it's installed in the tile. I do know he reinforced the wall behind the tile so it would mount solidly. It is in there rock solid and doesn't even think about wiggling or moving. Also, because the double mount bars are a nicely spaced, It's a great place to store the glass squeegee. And, since the ends are not mounted into the wall like other models, it's a great place to hang the loufa so it dries quickly. Yep, this is a great and thoughtfully designed product.

Looks great, seems to be of good quality but it was an after thought and was installed not knowing where a stud was. Had to use the Sheetrock like screws cause one of the regular screws came striped out. Too much flex with little weight applied, not sure if that’s cause of the plastic screws we had to use or the fact that we didn’t hit a stud and it’s just screwed into the 1/2” thick fiberglass shower wall.

Very good quality foot rest. But instead of using the #6 mounting hardware that came with the foot rest, I used #10 1 1/4" ribbed plastic anchors and 1 1/4" #10 Stainless steel metal screws. I drilled the holes with a 1/4" Milwaukee tile and glass drill bit which worked effortlessly. This gave it a much sturdier mount in my tile shower. I started out using the included hardware and when I put my foot on it I noticed it would move down a little bit due to the small #6 mounting screws. No movement now, solid as a rock. Looks great. We love it. Makes washing and drying my lower legs much easier. Great price and free shipping from Amazon.

Where has this been all my life? So amazing, I just hold on to the handicap bar and shave away. Well worth the money if you have a small shower with no shave step.

I absolutely love this item but needs better set screws. I purchased this about 18 months ago and it has never stayed in correctly. You can't tighten the small set screws enough and they strip, the tiny ones on the bottom of the bar itself that hold it to the mounting hardware. I'm looking for a replacement but I'm limited due to the holes I now have in my new shower. Do not use for any kind of support! It will not hold up. Such a shame bc it looks great and works great if the screws worked better.
