Incredible value and quality - Works with Arduino...
I built a water tank level controller using this valve in 1/2" and it works perfectly. I used a Dual H-Bridge driver for the positive and negative voltages to open and close the valve with an Arduino Nano to provide the logic. The Nano provides +5VDC signal which isn't enough to operate the valve and won't allow the valve to operate in the opposite direction by itself. To get to 12 volts and have positive and negative power for opening and closing the valve, I used the L298N Dual H-Bridge driver with two pins on the Nano as the open/close signals. There is probably a better method to control the valve but all of this stuff is readily available on Amazon for cheap and it works pretty good together for a long time, still working six months later...

Great high quality remote operated valve
Very surprised by the quality of this valve. Impressed with the switching power supply imbedded within which allows a very large range of DC voltage to operate. Even works with single diode rectified 24VAC without humming or buzzing. Very nicely designed. It also operated at the same speed opening or closing regardless of the input voltage from the low end to the upper limit. I am very happy with it. Also not that this valve stays inplace if power is removed. It also cuts of the power once it is in its end position, only drawing power when moving. Simply reverse the voltage and the valve operates in the opposite direction untile it hits that limit the shuts off the current. No heating or noise after it is completed its motion. Takes about 10 seconds to open or close.

Okay valve
Found a slightly more expensive valves that have automatic return when power is cut and uses solid metal gears. I believe this uses plastic meshing gears so longevity will be suspect. Also have to reverse the polarity to change state of valve so I use I have to use a relay for that. Made it work and does fine until I discovered a better valve that looks more robust and has a capacitor and I think spring backup that'll close the valve when power is cut therefore needing no extra replay just a set of two wires. So I give this 4 stars for not having those features.

I have several in use
Originally I bought only one to see how well they work. I have three now. Two control water to some ornamental plants and one a misting system on my A/C. Originally bought one just to see how well they worked. They work fine, I haven't had any issues with them. I believe I bought the first one about three years ago, the third about a year and a half. No issues with them at all. The A/C one is controlled by the A/C Thermostat. A/C comes on that one opens, when it goes off, it closes. Has worked without fault for 2 Summers in California's very hot Central Valley.

Very handy
These valves are pretty cool, very simple to wire. They shift in about 2 seconds and consume 0 watts once completely shifted. A DPDT switch or relay is needed to do the polarity reversal circuit

For the money, this motorized valve can't be beat.
Easy to wire. Only 2. Works as advertised. Used for downstreaming bleach for pressure washing purposes. Didn't flush the valve and still lasted almost 6 months. Bought a replacement, valve itself will swap on to the old motor with no problems and only 4 screws. And now I have a back up motor on the shelf. I couldn't be happier with these valves. Just ordered another one for stopping the flow of water to the tank while from a distance. Can be wired to 2 way remote.

Claimed IP65 rating is a lie.
I've had various of these valves in operation around the house, mainly for irrigation purposes. When they work, they do work well. However, at least three of the ten I've bought have failed due to water ingress. The label on the valve says IP65, which is dust tight and water proof up to jets of water. None of the valves have been subject to more than falling rain water, and none immersed. More work needs to be done on their weatherproofing for them to live up to their IP65 rating.

Seller has excellent customer service
When I purchased this valve I was charged import and duty fees which were not disclosed at checkout. When I contacted the seller, they offered to reimburse the charges without hesitation and did exactly that. Excellent customer service and a great valve too.

Great deal, but be aware that the 'Customs' Goblins may thrust their hands in.
I use this electric valve, with glue. Yep, literal glue. Not surprisingly, after a year, it failed to deal with the resistance to motion. That's not the problem. Happy to replace it, after it put up the 'Good fight'. The danger, Canadians, is that the long, greedy arms of 'Customs' might notice your valve crossing the border. They noticed this time, and added $28 in Custom fees. Roll the bones, if you dare.
