Armor S2000 Sodium Silicate Concrete Sealer and Surface Hardener (S2000-5 Gallon Pail)

This product solved our problem of paint repeatedly peeling off our concrete floor in our basement. The directions were easy to follow and applying it with a spray bottle worked great. When we repainted the problem areas, the paint stayed on and now our floor looks great.

This is my second time using the product. In both cases the before and after are the same story. Before we had signs of efflorescence and concrete shedding from basement walls. The product is easy to apply with a spray and goes on evenly. After it dried the shedding was gone. Three years later and no occurrence of efflorescene and no more shedding. Just applied it at another location and expecting the same results there,

Easy application with foam paint brush roller. It does leave a slight wet look as shown in the photo. This does not bother me but may not be desirable to others. I plan to use their sealant next.

This item is advertised for sealing concrete, and it does that very well. I also use it to preserve raw eggs by packing them into a crock jar and covering them with the diluted solution of this product. It is also handy for sealing softer gem stones for cutting and polishing.

Went on very easy with a paint roller. After letting it sit for two days I see no difference but now I have a white powdery floor.

Work great for me and I really liked that I was able to purchase a small amount rather than a gallon.

I spoke with tech support before ordered this and explained our dusting problem (it was excessive). He explained how to prep the surface properly and then apply to liquid. It bubbled upon contact, and the dust was noticeably less after 1 day (70% improvement). Our concrete had cured exceptionally poorly, and he suggested we might need a second treatment. The difference was so noticeable on the first treatment, that we did a second floor prep and will do second treatment. During the second floor prep, the floor was significantly less absorbent to water. Please note, this does not correct any surface imperfections from poor application of concrete. It does definitely harden the surface.

The media could not be loaded.  I used it to harden some concrete furniture that I'm making, and it really makes a difference.I polished up to 200 grit, applied the product with a brush following the dilution rate and waited to be dry. I then went on and polished the concrete up to 3000 grit (the concrete in the video was polished to 1500 grit) and I could see my reflection in the concrete.I have a second piece of furniture made out of the same mix, I tried to polish that without applying the hardener and I could really see and feel the difference.If you are looking to get a great finish on your concrete, invest the money and time to apply this product, it will really make a difference in the final look.
