I have shaved my head with a razor for years and have had mixed results with various shaving products, so this past summer I decided to spend a little time and money trying out several major brands of shaving cream including Cremo, Jack Black, and a few others. Bottom line, CO Bigelow knocked them all out of the park. It doesn’t take much to cover my whole head and it’s so slick that I don’t experience any nicks or redness after. I’m amazed every time I use it. I follow up with the Italian ProRaso aftershave for sensitive skin, which has also worked very well. My only complaint is that the smell is quite herbal and medicine-y, and I would love a warmer more natural woodsy patchouli, cedar-type option, but the smell doesn’t linger and I still highly recommend it.

I bought this shaving cream because, let’s face it, I needed something small but mighty for my trips. The 1.7oz size seemed like it might last for a weekend getaway at best, but this stuff is like the Mary Poppins bag of shaving cream—it just keeps going!One dab of this Bigelow cream covers more ground than I do on my morning run (which is to say, it’s impressive). The eucalyptus and coconut oil combo? Absolute magic. It leaves my face tingling in a way that says, “Hey, you might actually know what you’re doing with this grooming thing.” And the smell? Fresh enough that I actually started looking forward to shaving—who knew?Now, I’ve been using this little tube for weeks, and it shows no signs of giving up. It's like the shaving cream equivalent of a never-ending pasta bowl. If only my gym membership was this effective at stretching things out.In short, this is the perfect companion for travel, or for those of us who love a good bargain that just keeps on giving. Will I buy it again? Heck yes—but who knows when, because this tube might just outlive me.

I love this shaving cream.But it’s not my absolute favorite. When I have time, I prefer to use a lathering shaving brush and soap bowl. But I don’t always have the time to give myself a luxury shave. This is the best ‘I’m in a hurry’ substitute I’ve found, and I reach for it more often than not.It is, hands down, the best shaving cream for travel.It’s rich leather and pleasant ‘barber shop-y’ smell offer a welcome upgrade to shaving when I’m traveling or in a hurry.

Cremo protects from nicks a little bit better than this product. It feels cool after your done shaving, aroma is good also

Lathers up well if you use a brush. It has a great scent. Great size for travel or your carry on kit.

Not as thick as some other brands. I got this for my travel kit, and it fits well. It lathers OK, but is a little bit runny.
