Cat Pheromones Diffuser

We have 3 cats, one of which is an in-remission, diabetic boy. Throughout his life, he has had issues with going outside the litter box. We have tried everything.We purchased these 2 units, and placed one in each room with a cat pan, and so far, no issues. It has been a full week, and we are very pleased.While we cannot smell anything, he apparently can. This is the first pheromone unit I have used that had an on/off switch. This pair of units have a visible indicator light to show they are on, though it is incredibly dim, so just know you will want to turn all room lights out to check.

This diffuser is not designed well, and it’s difficult to tell if it’s working or not.I bought the package of 2 and neither one lights up. And the yellow button you push to turn it on - it’s impossible to tell if the button is pushed in or not. I see no difference in my cat’s stress level from a recent move, but it’s hard to tell if this diffuser is even working.The directions that come with it are terrible as well.They did end up refunding me and had excellent customer service. I just wish the product was better.

I have a 11year old cat that has decided to poop various places in the house. He’s been doing it for about two months. I did various things to stop it nothing helped. I called my Vet and she suggested these pheromone plug ins. I thought oh well might as well try them. I plugged them in the morning I got them and was absolutely amazed when I seen poop in his litter box the next morning. It’s been three days since I plugged them in and everyday day of those three days, he pooped in his box. At first I was a non believer, but it sure proved me wrong. You can smell nothing. But I guess he can. I’m a definite believer.

It seems to work ok. Took a bit to see when it was on.

We got this for our easily stressed cat.The cat pheromone itself seems to work.BUT I think the diffuser heads stopped working or only work intermittently after a few days.I noticed the liquid stayed at the same level for a few days straight until I switched one to a different diffuser head that we had. Thankfully it fit, and the liquid level started moving again.I took a picture side by side of the original head that came with this, and the one we ended up using. That’s after 1 day.We’ll keep using the refills, just with different diffuser heads. Something to think about if you don’t have any spare ones lying around.

My cat used to constantly meow, vet said it's stress because we recently switched him from outdoor/indoor to only indoor. As soon as I plugged these in, the meowing almost completely stopped. He is definitely less anxious. Just ordered the refills so we don't run out! I was going to order Feliway but that brand is super expensive, TopSum does the same as Feliway for half the price.

I plugged these in when I was leaving town to help calm my kitty. It seemed like it worked, but after I got home and unplugged them I noticed that only one was clearing working. Unfortunately by the time I used them it was part the return date. Having one working seemed to help keep her semi calm. I wonder if it would have worked better if they were both working since they only cover a specific square footage.

I bought these because my cats started fighting out of the blue. Was hoping this would calm them down. Bought two of them and put them in the rooms where they hang out. They are still fighting and these have not helped their behavior at all. I realized they these were not the name brand after I purchased them. Maybe the name brand would work better.
