I was delighted when I spotted the on Amazon, thought I'd have to make some, perfect size and length, and made from rebar, very strong.

I’ve used them for securing gravel boards to side of flower beds

These are heavy duty ground stakes, so the picture of them being used as tent pegs is a bit misleading. They are big and solid, and to hammer them into the ground you need a heavy metal mallet (a rubber one like shown in the picture just won’t cut it). Also, once these stakes are in the ground, they are in they are not coming out again without a fight. I ordered them to hold down the base of the chain-link fence in our garden where foxes and badgers have been pushing their way underneath to come in and play. I’ve hammered the stakes all the way into the ground with the fence wire hooked into the top, and then covered the top with soil – so they are an invisible, but effective deterrent. To all those people who’s garden trampoline ended up on the road or a railway line during the recent storm – Please get some of these

Found to be really good, considering the beating they have had to put in, sharp point on one end nicely protected in box with rubber for saftey, happily use again
