Just what I needed to make my gluten free sourdough starter. Smells good and packaged great

This arrived with a powdery substance all over the outside and spread on the other items inside the packing box. I’m assuming it has a hole in it which is completely frustrating. When I saw the allergen statement that it may contain wheat, I nearly panicked.Not only did I get it on my kitchen counter, it’s flour that can contain gluten- something I do not allow in my kitchen because my son has celiac disease. If I wouldn’t have double checked the label, looking for a gluten free clam on the packaging, my son could have become very sick.Do not buy this if you’re using it for a celiac person or are sensitive to gluten: it should not be labeled gluten free.

If you need rice flour, this is the perfect choice. It comes neatly sealed and the rice flour inside is very fine and tastes really good. However, upon reading the nutrition facts, it has about 50 more calories per 1/4 cup than regular flour, so I would highly recommend baking with and consuming this in moderation.

I use white rice flour to dust my banneton baskets for my sourdough. This works great!
