Love this saddle. super comfy, light, and understated styling (no stupid logos anywhere). My riding buddies think it's a $200 saddle. ha

Didn’t fit.

I built up a nice high-end carbon fiber mountain bike for my son as a long overdue birthday present (thanks to COVID supply chain issues). In the process, I tried to choose components that would keep the weight fairly low. For saddles, I usually choose Selle Italia bc I enjoy their more bold styling options. Unfortunately, I could not find a decent Selle Italia saddle that matched his red paint job for less than $270.I came across another (gravel) biker with this saddle one day while out riding in the Santa Cruz mountains and found out that it was extremely lightweight and made in China. The rider also reported that it had held up fine for eight months so far. I ordered one up from Amazon and three days later I had it in hand.The base and rails are entirely carbon fiber and the upper saddle portion is covered in real leather with a very slight amount of padding underneath. The total weight of the saddle is 125 grams on my scale. The only thing I did not like about the saddle is that the leather is only glued underneath. It is not stapled or switched to the carbon fiber.Riding it has been a breeze because it is built to give just a little bit if you weigh about 170 to 200 lbs. I figured with the light amount of padding that it would be pretty firm and a bit on the uncomfortable side, but it is anything but. It gives just a tad if you hit a bump and is compliant to the shape of your bottom by a small amount. I actually found the saddle to be a great ride. My son, for whom the saddle is intended only weighs 108 lbs but still finds the saddle to be comfortable.The best part is the price, .... I paid only $39. To get a compatible saddle from Selle Italia, Fizik, WTB, Tioga, SDG, etc .... that weighs only 125 grams and is full carbon fiber, you are looking at roughly $230 or more. I actually prefer this saddle to my Selle Italia Carbino SLR which is $260. The only possible downside to the price is that of course for that price, it had to be made in China. Be that as it may, this saddle so far is an excellent product. No weird creaks from the rails, no delamination of the fibers or cracks, and a killer combination of looks, weight, and price. YMMV but for myself, I would rate this five stars so far.
