UPDATE: updated to 5 stars as I solved the issue of poor connection explained below by repositioning the WiFi transmitter closer to the timer. now the connection is stable.This sprinkler timer is well made: it allows to control two separate zones and it can easily connect to both bluetooth and WiFi (even if this last one is not working well, at least with my home network).The connection can be easily managed through the “Smart life” app. This app easily connects to the device and allows to schedule the timer, to activate the smart weather function to skip the scheduled activity in case of rain.Two buttons on the timer allow to manually switch on and off the two separate zones.The installation is very easy and the physical connection to the water hose is good enough to prevent any leakages.As anticipated, the timer works well, but the WiFi connection is sometimes too weak, causing the system to not respond to the command. I will try to move the WiFi receiver to a different zone, to see if the situation will improve but, up to now, the connection issues are still an issue: being the possibility to control the device remotely one of the main plus for this product, this problem has a big impact on the overall rating.Final note on the connection with Google home ( I didn’t test Alexa). The connection is very simple but the interface doesn’t allow to control the two zones separately. I didn’t negatively rate this aspecf as probably not related to the product but to the google home app….so far a 5 star product negatively impacted by connection issues. I will try to find a better position for the WiFi receiver. It the situation will improve I will update the final rate.

Not being a tech wizard this took a little work to get going. However once installed correctly this works great.I have two areas that are not getting watered. This solves the problem without me having to go outside and adjusting and positioning the sprinklers every day. Complete control when to water and how long.The unit is built very well and water proof. I love having this and it saves a lot on these old bones.

This timer works well.. The instructions were straight forward, it is easy to use and easy to program. When I ordered it I was unsure what or how the Bluetooth device worked. Upon installation I figured out that it communicates with the timer via Bluetooth and communicates with the internet through the homes WiFi. This allows the timer to be programmed or used from anywhere on the planet that has internet service via WiFi or cellular data. Without the Bluetooth adapter the timer will only work if the app/phone is within Bluetooth range of the timer. Installation of the device and the timer app is easy to do and use. I have other water timers but they require input at the timer and have no capability to communicate with anything else. The app allows to precisely program both water outlets and set them to follow a schedule or turn on for a time that can be set on the app. It also can allow for the timer to not water if it is raining. It does this by uploading current weather data and identifying if it is raining or not from the weather report. This is a very neat timer that uses current technology and is very user friendly. If you are considering this timer, just get it you will not be disappointed

I had to wait for it to finally stop raining before I could put this little Diivoo sprinkler timer to the test, and it performed flawlessly. That said, it was a little tricky for me to set up with the included power plug/gateway/programmer; it all came down to shutting down the VPN on my phone for a few minutes while initially connecting and reenabling it. Once connected to the hose timer unit, everything works as advertised, and I can turn on and off the water manually or set a schedule and duration. The unit itself is solid and watertight. I was concerned with the battery cover, but after spraying the unit several times to test it, I found that it still works perfectly. Overall, this will be useful for general lawn watering or setting up leaker hoses on some plants during the hot weather. In addition, this would work out well when you are traveling and can’t find anyone to water your outdoor landscaping, making it an excellent gift for those you know who plants you are watering when they are away.

Easy to use and very accurate

This is not that easy to set up for the wifi but you can turn on manually if you can't figure out how to get it on wifi. It feels solid. I have an extensive rose garden next to a vegetable garden and can use the diverter to water each one every other night with my soaker hoses. If I leave town in a heat wave I know the important plants are getting their water.

I am eager to use this new watering timer with soaker hoses for my rose bushes which are arranged in two sections. This timer will allow me to water each section, one at a time, on a schedule. How easy and helpful. Great idea and I can't wait to use it all summer.

Little complicated to setup as it has a remote device that must be plugged into an outlet for it to connect to Wifi. Use it to different watering schedules for plants around my backyard. Easy to manage once configured.
