Our kids already had fluffy blue seatbelt pads in the back of our car and they like them, so we wanted grown-up ones for the front seats. While these look smarter than the kids versions, unfortunately they’re just not quite as good.The positioning of the velcro and the way they wrap around means that they are just marginally too loose, and they slip down every time you put the seatbelt on. Tightening them would avoid the problem, but the sticky loop stuff is not in the right place to make that possible, so you can’t tighten it up. So it’s already becoming a habit for me to do up my seatbelt, then slide this strap up to my shoulder. It’s no great hardship of course, but the kids in the back don’t need to even do that.They’re also not quite as padded as the kids versions, which is a shame. They are comfier on a bare shoulder than the seatbelt strap is on its own, certainly, but it doesn’t add a great deal of padding or comfort, it’s quite understated. They’re better being there than not there, but it doesn’t suddenly turn an uncomfy seatbelt into a comfy one.The manufacturing quality is fine, they’re nicely presented and they do the job they’re advertised for. But since they’re not quite as good as the ones our kids have already got, I can only give them four stars.
