OREGON 60-364 Throttle Cable Universal 150 cm for All Standard Lawn Mowers

Used to control the throttle on a Merry Tiller rotavator. The cable needed cutting to length but this was easy to do.

No nonsense and perfectly adequate quality + great price (inc delivery on Prime so a bit of a steal). Didn't need the lever but it came off easy enough. Arrived on a Sunday too.

I had to buy two of these (one is now a spare), which was a pain, but they are all metal, save for the top of the lever and cable sheath. Construction is sturdy, the metal parts are thicker than I thought they would be, and there is a substantial sprung rivet (facilitating pre-set positions) holding the leaver to the body - should that break at some point, it would be easy to use a nut and bolt. The cable is single strand - so not as flexible as multi-stranded cable, and is ready bent to shape to go in the hole on the throttle.There are no fixings, so you will have to provide those - probably the existing fitting this replaces will suffice. The pre-set positions snap positively in place securely, though mine is always on 'MAX', but if you use them they will stay put, I'll be putting a smear of grease on mine to keep it free moving.All in all not a bad buy.One note of caution, the cable is very springy and is not secured (at least mine wasn't) in the bag, consequently it may snake about when you first take it out, so look to hold the free end against the loop when taking it out.

I used it to repair a broken throttle cable on a qualcast lawnmower with a Briggs and Stratton 500e engine. The new metal lever control feels far better than the old plastic one. The new cable took just a couple of minutes to swap over and worked perfectly.

The arm is too soft and bends easily.

Bought 4 of these, great bits of kit, especially considering current mowers all have these crap plastic lever's that goes brittle and snaps over the winter,Cable holder can be picky if on the opposite side you need it to be, clamping in a vice or a tactical cable/zip tie is your friend here.Built strong, if secured with two bolts as designed I cant see how anyone with a correctly functioning machine could bend anything to do with this.

I needed a cable for a mountfield mower but didn't needed the leverI just unclipped the cable section and used the original mountfield lever, cut the inner and outer to length bent over the inner cable fitted and works perfect for a fraction of the cost of the mountfield partBargain, welk worth it

Für den Preis absolut zu empfehlen. Bowdenzug ist zwar sehr lang aber das ist sehr gut so...besser als zu kurz und man kann ihn großzügig verlegen. Sehr stabil gebaut....Wem die Mechanik zu schwergängig ist .....ein wenig Fett wirkt Wunder!
