Absolutely in love with this portable coffee machine! I have always had trouble finding coffee i enjoy while im out and about. This machine is now my go-to! This interesting and inexpensive Espresso maker makes surprisingly tasty Espresso, complete with foam. It comes with all the necessary parts to use a small pre-filled Espresso blend cup or a filter assembly so you can grind your own coffee. I didn’t have an ‘Espresso’ blend coffee, but I used a dark roast good quality Arabica bean coffee, that I ground to a fine powder (as required to make Espresso). It took me a moment to figure out where all the parts went, but looking at the picture on the product description page helped. To save the battery, it suggested using hot water to start, so I heated about 70 ml (~2 oz.) of water in the microwave. I ran some water through the system first (pressing the button for 2 seconds to start the Espresso process) to make sure it was clean. Then I ground 6 grams of coffee (about the size of the little supplied measuring cup). After compressing the coffee in the filter container (it has two stainless steel plates with tiny holes in it), I assembled it, and started the process using the hot water. It heats the water quickly, and after about a minute or so, it forces the water through the coffee grinds. The coffee falls in the dark gray cup that you attach to the bottom. I poured the liquid into a coffee cup, mixed it with a tiny bit of milk, and consumed it. The result was quite good. For a charger, you will need at least a 10-watt (2 Amp) USB-C charger to charge the battery before making Espresso. A cable with USB-A to USB-C connectors is supplied, but you must supply the charger (you can use your PC or laptop if they can supply 2 Amps at 5 volts, which most modern PCs (made in the last 3 years) can provide. It has 4 LEDs that tell you the state of charge of the internal lithium battery. When it is making coffee, the LEDs tell you the temperature of the water as it heats it up. Good espresso! I recommend this.

I purchased the drips portable coffee machine and I am very happy with my purchase. Cool design and coffee tastes the same as my coffee machine at home if not better! Highly recommend it!

This worked magically the first time I used it and wouldn't dispense on the second use (even with a charge). It made the sound like it was dispensing (lights flashing in the downward motion like they do when it dispenses) but nothing would come out. Maybe I got a dud. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ UPDATE: Swapped the unit and the replacement is working fine, so I upped my rating from 1 to 3. I did notice that if the lid where the Nespresso pod is placed is screwed on too tightly the unit won’t dispense liquid. If you’re experiencing the same issue, loosen that cap a tiny bit and it should work.
