Works as described. Nice countertop ice maker.
So far, so good. I've used this ice maker all day long, every day for 2 weeks while on a leave from work. It makes ice as described. We had a similar ice maker before. The ice in this one is less wet when dumping into a container in the freezer. It's also relatively quiet. I'm really pleased with this pink ice maker. I may buy one for my office.

Works as described
Will start with the pros:It does make the cubes rather quickly. It does stop when basket is full.It does stop when out of water...It truly works awesome, makes cubes and the cubes apparently made to fit into a regular 16 oz bottle of water....Cons:Again works great, it just takes time to collect enough cubes to store for future use, if you're gonna need a large quantity of ice...But, overall, awesome for a single or couple who just want to make small batches and take the time to just keep running the ice maker until you get the desired amount you want..... its a great investment...I'm not saying its the best or worst ice maker, but for the cost and its ease of use and its ability to make ice, its a very acceptable machine...

Superb ice maker - buying more to share as GIFTS!
The ice maker went out in the freezer, necessitating a temporary fix for our ice creation problem- and this one ROCKS!! Keep in mind, this is not a freezer - it creates ice... period. If the maker recognizes the ice basket is full - it turns on the warning light and stops. Use some of the ice and it goes back to work. If it runs low on water, it stops (of course) and turns on the warning light for that. Refill the water reservoir, cycle the power and it goes back to work. There is a drain in the bottom to drain/change the water so DON'T tip it to empty it! It needs to sit upright 24 hours when you receive it or if you tip it so the coolant will drain back to where it's supposed to be. (Otherwise, you could potentially blow up the internals if the liquid is in a vulnerable location.)I honestly don't know what the life expectancy is for an item like this, but it pays for itself pretty quickly when you consider buying ice for $2 per bag, and the ice tastes as good as your choice of bottled water (recommended). Speaking of life expectancy, ours ran non-stop, around the clock for 10 MONTHS before it quit. It likely only needs to get the dust blown out - common problem in our office - but I can't recommend this item more highly for speed and durability.

Works well
I waited a while to get several uses of this ice maker before leaving this review. I’ll state right up front that this thing has worked very well and exactly as it’s advertised to. It makes a decent amount of ice “cubes” (bullet shaped) and is relatively quiet. The first batch it makes at every start up are fairly small and I’m guessing this is probably something all machines of this type do. I usually will just dump the first one or two batches right back into the water reservoir. The more batches the machine makes the better the size of the ice. I store mine in a gallon slider zip bag and just toss it in the freezer. I keep a couple gallons of purified water on hand and use it for the ice (along with my coffee makers). The machine is easy to wipe down and drain after you’re done making ice. I’ve not needed to do any special cleaning yet, but I bought a bottle of ice maker cleaner for when I do. How long this thing will ultimately lasts is anyone’s guess, but I’ve been using it a few months now and it functions flawlessly.

Pretty impressive!
This is a great ice maker! It makes ice every 7 minutes, so the freeze speed is pretty impressive to me! It’s great for my iced coffees too! The machine is portable with a handle which is awesome so you can take it on the go.The only thing I didn’t realize when buying this is that once the ice basket is full, you need to use the ice or put it in your freezer. It doesn’t hold the ice long term, rather it melts over time and new ice is made. I would still buy it again though.Great little machine!

Good ice maker
This is surprisingly very convenient and amazing to use for all apartments or dorms that don’t have an icemaker in their freezer. It’s relatively quiet and produces ice all day (as long as you have water in the tank lol)

Works well & is good value for the price, but it does take some management.
I’ve been using this countertop ice maker for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s a solid machine that performs well for the price. It’s convenient, fairly quick, and produces a steady flow of ice. The “6-minute ice-making” feature is impressive on paper—and it really does start producing ice within that time—but there are some things to know before relying on it for constant, ready-to-use cubes. The main downside is the type of ice it makes. The cubes aren’t completely solid; they come out more like a wet freeze, so they tend to melt quickly if not handled immediately. Because of that, you have to be diligent about transferring the cubes to your freezer right away. Even then, since they’re so moist, they tend to freeze together in clumps, which means you’ll often need to break them apart before using.I’ve found the best way to use this machine is to run it while you’re in the kitchen for an hour or so. That way, you can collect batches of ice regularly and get them into the freezer before they start melting. It’s not quite a “set it and forget it” appliance—you do have to babysit it a bit. Also worth noting: it’s a bit bulky for a countertop model. Make sure you have space for it, especially if you plan to keep it out permanently. In short, this ice maker works well and is a good value for the price, but it does take some management to get the most out of it. If you’re okay with a little hands-on attention, it’ll serve you well.
