Brings out the incredible courage and determination of all those on the expedition. The whole undertaking called for amazing physical and mental powers in Scott and all of those involved. What is often remembered as a failure was in fact an amazing achievement which should be celebrated as such.

Great intro to history during our Antarctic topic. Children loved the pictures and sense of adventure. Captivated one very bright boy who usually opts out of carpet time!
