This did exactly what it was supposed to do. So far I haven't had any stings or bees in get in the hood while using it. It's heavy and hot so keep that in mind when ordering it. Even though you're sweating you'll be safe from bee stings so pick the lesser evil.

Need to wear a baseball cap so the veil does not rest on your face. overall sting resistant. Need to make sure your wearing it right because they will find a way in.

Heavy materials,great metal zipper ,veil stands up well all around pleased on arrival.Time will tell what I think I know lol!

I've just been using a veil and gloves with no jacket from Atwoods. It kept them off my face except for one time they found a way in somehow -- that was a bad day. It was when I got several stings through my thick shirt that I knew I needed something more.Anyway, I am impressed with the thick canvas and quality of this jacket. I actually felt protected when I used it. I went ahead and purchased a size up. I'm glad I did. I think the bagginess helps me feel more protected and comfortable. The only thing I worry about is how the hood sits on the top of my head but I doubt they will sting through. I'll probably wear a cap next time anyway. I was for sure protected from stings with this thing. I noticed a bee or two really trying to get me but there was no way they could. I feel so much more at ease working the bees now and I didn't have to spend a lot. I highly recommend.

I like the zippers they are well made and don't appear to be the type that jump tracks easily. The Velcro enclosure for where the zippers intersect add to the security of the jacket and hood. I wish the pockets wear a little deeper. But it was a good value.

Better than I expected. Very heavy material so if u live where it’s hot consider a ventilated suit. The brass zippers are heavy duty and well made. Stitching it great. Whatever size shit u normally wear go a size up. I’m 5’9” 175# and I got the XL. Elastic is tight at the waste and I would highly recommend this bee jacket. Again it states it’s heavy material and they were not joking.

Like that its sturdy, but its so dang hot and heavy. Will probably have to buy a lighter one for the hot summer months. The quality is good.

Reçu rapidement, la vareuse est bien finie et solide. Je mesure 185cm pour 80kg et la taille XL est bien, ample autour du ventre (serrage à lanière prévu dans la veste) OK aux manches et à la taille. Très content!

Une bonne veste mais on suffoque rapidement durant les chaleurs de l'été. Idéal pour les travaux au printemps et à l'automne, mais pas pour l'été.
