Guitar for my 4 year old Grandson
My Grandson is turning 4 and wants to learn how to play. I wanted to get him a nice beginner guitar & thought this was a good option. I love the color and quality of it and I hope he enjoys it for many years to come.

A fine beginner's guitar. Good for small hands.
Affordable and beautiful sound. Good for small hands and child beginners. While Fender is typically known for its electric guitars, I've owned several Fender acoustic dreadnought-style guitars for years and they produce wonderful, warm tone and resonance. If you are worried about quality, I would say don't be. Really enjoy my acoustic Fenders.

It's about as good as you can expect for this price, I think, but don't expect it to last
It's good for a child beginning to play. At first I was impressed by how good it looked, although it feels very light, so durability is probably not on the menu. As soon as I began fiddling with the tuning pegs to tune it, I could tell that MUCH expense had been spared on that part of the guitar. They feel cheap and don't work smoothly. Tightening is sort of okay but if you miss the mark and have to loosen a bit, nothing happens when you turn it. I'm hoping this guitar will last long enough for my kid to fall in love with it and want to commit to a serious guitar. I wouldn't expect much more longevity than that from this.

Would buy again in a second
Very nice looking and well put together Fender 3/4 guitar. I am having a little trouble tuning it, but as a newbie to stringed instruments that is probably me. I feel like I got more than what i paid for. Beautiful guitar.

High quality and affordable
Thoroughly impressed! When I saw this I thought it wasn't for real. Fender is a name brand guitar and this one was $100?! I thought I would get a knock off, but this turned out to be a great guitar. 3/4 Size which is great for my 13 year old children with smaller hands and not the strongest fingers. Nylon strings feel good and the bridge height is comfortable. Not bleeding my fingers to push hard on high strings. I wish there was a knob for a shoulder strap on the top of the guitar. Only has one on the bottom. But not hard to take to a music store and add one. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase!

It’s not worth it
Review – Fender FA-25N Nylon (3/4) This guitar is very disappointing unless you’re buying it strictly for a small child. If you have slightly wider fingers, chord shapes are uncomfortable right away. The neck feels narrow, and even basic chords like C major are awkward and frustrating to play. The biggest issue is the extremely high action. The strings sit very high off the fretboard, making the guitar hard to play and tiring on the fingers. It’s obvious this is done at the factory to avoid fret buzz, but it completely kills playability. The guitar does not feel inviting to play at all. The instrument is lightweight, and the body doesn’t look poorly assembled, but build quality alone doesn’t make a good musical experience. Comfort and playability matter — and this guitar fails there. Yes, it’s cheap, but the overall playing experience is bad. If you have any prior musical experience or basic expectations, this guitar is not worth it. Conclusion: Only suitable for a young beginner with small hands. Otherwise, I do not recommend it. I’m very disappointed and would not buy this model again.

Have to constantly tune
Ok so this is a nice guitar but the plastic strings get unturned SOO fast it's just inconvenient and a waste of time having to retune it every 30 mins.

Could have been better
Nice little instrument. The materials are very cheap. If you're looking for a beater guitar, this price point is fair and will deliver something of quality. The string action is high and I had to sand the bridge bone down like crazy to get the strings to a comfortable height. Absurdly the factory strings are GOOD and haven't snapped yet, and they play and sound well. The instrument is what it says on the tin in terms of size, so needless to say that I feel like I'm playing a mini acoustic guitar. After adjustments, it becomes a nice secondary/beater guitar. If you're going full pro, the Yamaha C40 is what you're looking for.
