Unlike everyone else, I'm not making suncatchers! I am going to be putting these on my shower curtain. I'm going to hang them from the shower curtain hooks that have big crystals on them. I'm going for an over the top BLING! look.These are AB crystals (although they aren't really crystals, they look like it) which have an Aurora Borealis finish on them which makes them extra rainbow-y. I do love an AB crystal and usually get them when I have the choice. They just sparkle more. I have no idea what K9 material is, but it looks good. And it's got enough weight that they don't feel like plastic drops that are really cheap feeling. These feel good.These drops are a large size 1.5" long, so they might be too big for jewelry unless you have a big style. The drops are all drilled for hanging. They come packed really well in a plastic sponge (I don't know how to describe it, it's a packing material you find in glassware) set up with each drop in it's own slot. The crystals came with no breakage and I'm storing them in that packaging until I string them up. They are very secure in it.Really nice drops, looking forward to stringing them up.

I love to make sun catchers and/or pendulums to give as gifts. These large crystal teardrops make the perfect end point for these gifts and my friends have loved them. They have the weight these projects need to work and refract the light beautifully.

Those crystals stones are so beautiful and sparkle even without the sun. I used them to make sun catchers and I must say it works so well and beautiful.They are a bit heavy but it’s good for a sun catcher, I wouldn’t use it as a jewelry stone because the weight.Good quality and I love how it looks

First thing I checked was if they were drilled, and if they would fit my jump rings: yes to both parts.Appreciate that there's enough weight to hang well, but not too heavy that they won't dance in a breeze.Good iridescence; not too clearly nor too overwhelming. Will be very good additions to any suncatcher project.

I put a few of these in my east facing window to catch the sunlight. They work! I have rainbows randomly popping up in my living room. I love it. Makes me smile every time I see a rainbow. They come with a hole at the top so you can string some thin string like fishing line or the like through it.

Today I learned... that "AB" crystal stands for Aurora Borealis, and was originated by Swarovski in 1956. They're made by applying a special coating to the surface of the crystal. These LoveUnited crystals have a coating on one side that reflects and disperses light in full spectrum. The coating is visible, but it's still translucent, and the reflected prismatic colors are incredible.At this bargain price, one might think these aren't "real" crystal, but they are. From Wikipedia, describing K9 glass which is what these are made of: "K9 glass, sometimes referred to as K9 crystal, is a variety of optical borosilicate crown glass. The letter 'K' is a reference to the German word for 'crown' and the number 9 refers to the lead oxide content of the glass [9%]. K9 glass has high optical clarity..." So, yes it is a type of crystal, if not old-time traditional lead crystal.

These are beautiful crystals. The quality is better than I expected. Each stone is perfect to perfection. They are so colorful and shimmery. These are going to make beautiful sun catchers. I love that there's so many colors in these crystals. Pinks, blues, greens, purples. I can use any one of my cut slab stones in my sun catchers and these crystals just bring out the color. Almost exaggerating my stones colors into brilliance. Wow! Happy girl here. Quality is perfection!

I thought these would be little prisms whose pictures in the ad were enhanced to look like they had a rainbow sheen. Nope, they came looking exactly as pictured in the ad. Who in their right mind would paint a prism in rainbow colors?!?! So disappointed.
