This is a really cute little dress-up set.The mesh skirt is actually quite well made, and the little star sequins on the top layer are so pretty, giving that extra twinkle. It fit my six year old niece snugly, though I'm not entirely sure it would fit an eight year old.The wings are two layers of net (like tights) stretched over a wire form, and have little elastic straps to thread over the shoulders. Again, they have a lovely glittery pattern on them, and my niece loved them, though they do feel a little fragile; I can feel that one of the wings has a weak point near to the centre, so I'm not at all sure how long they'll last. Then again, it wasn't an expensive costume.We actually ended up removing the butterflies from the headband, as their weight tended to drag the headband forwards over her face as my niece played, but once off she was a lot happier with the fluffy headband, and we put a little double-sided sticky tape on the back of the two butterflies so that she could wear them on her top like brooches.The wand is very cute and has survived a fair amount of being bashed into things in play, so it's pretty robust.All in all this was very well received by my niece, who wanted to wear it immediately, and wouldn't take it off when we later went for a walk in the park, where she dashed around waving her wand with wild flourishes at everyone! In general it's pretty sturdy, though as I said I'm not sure how long the wings will last, but the amount of pure enjoyment that my niece got out of this made it worth every penny.

Good for a single use then I threw it out as the quality isn't great for long term keep. I only bought it as it was required last minute but I would deffo recommend investing in something higher quality if you actually want to keep it for years.

This is so cute beautiful colours and nice and bright made well and accurate sizing fits my daughter really well. Good value for money
