I purchased this textbook for my Biology class. This edition is very updated with the latest information. The information is concise and important sentences are highlighted. The book is highly organized and there are lots of diagrams with colorful pictures. There are test review questions at the end of each chapter which help while studying. Questions for understanding certain concepts are found throughout the book. Glossary, index and Bioskills are found at the end of the book. I found this book to be very helpful while studying for Biology.

I aim to use this book in Biology course 101. It's the best biology text book I have gone through. Freeman covers most of the main subjects in biology, yet the explanations are very simple. Used -bad condition
At first glance I thought this was a good book just highlighting found inside but then as I’m using this book I find multiple sections missing pages and as I turn pages I’m finding scraps of torn pages falling out. This should have been in the used descriptions

Good textbook.
I liked the textbook. It was well-organized and clear in its presentation of course material. Important vocabulary words were appropriately emphasized and the pictures and graphs aided in comprehension of concepts.

I ordered the used version because at my school, they were over $90 and I got this for 50 some dollars! Great condition- a little bent around the corners but nothing worth really complaining about. GREAT BOOK!!!
