Q: can this be used on an induction burner or cooktop?

This stockpot is stainless steel with an encapsulated bottom. The encapsulated bottom that touches the stove is a layer of stainless steel wrapped around an aluminum core layer with a stainless steel layer wrapped on top of that, then attached to the bottom of the stainless steel pot. A magnet WILL stick to the bottom of this pot, so I believe that meets the requirements for an induction stove.
