Work really well but still overpriced
These work really well and can make a £30 shirt look like a £100 shirt. The effect can almost be too dramatic when you first put them in, but they soften after a couple of washes. I wouldn't try fitting them yourself unless you know what you're doing. The lady at the dry cleaners had never seen these before but gave it a go and ultimately charged me a fairly reasonable £5 per shirt. Biggest downside is the price - they really are just little strips of plastic.

The only decent way to get collars to stand up
The best way to get a collar to stand up for sure.Make sure you install them properly and they seem to last ages. If you've not sewed before, then get someone more capable to fit them.Gave them to my tailor. Easily completed and looking great.

this invention really works. the collar is really in good shape but is rather for leisure shirt and is only necessary if the bottom at height of the chest is open.the disadvantage - besides the price - is that sewing it into the shirt is a bit difficult. i had my tailor do it, which of course also raises the price for a million dollar collar.

Nice to Have's
They work as advertised, maybe a little bit pricey for what they are, but if you have the spare money not a bad purchase at all.

Decent, overpriced
Decent, but absolute rip off. I mean how costly is it to produce little pieces of plastic. Their profit margins must be 5000+%

These things are the dog's... along with magnetic collar stiffeners, my work shirts look very different to those of my work colleagues which just adds to the fun banter of who has more style - really important when you're in IT to show you're not an IT geek...which, of course, you totally are. Anyway, these things work as described. Shirts can be washed with no harm coming to shirts or stiffeners. As I bought 10 pairs and got all 10 shirts done at the same time, my tailor charged me £5.00 per shirt (£50.00). I think that that was very good value but my opinion is, naturally, subjective. However, I do not own a sowing machine nor have the know-how to do this myself. The tailor did say that if I'd have asked for only 1 or 2 shirts, he would have charged £10.00 a piece - the standard price of a shirt alteration. Thanks to Million Dollar Collars, I really stick out from the (IT) crowd
