Royal Essence تاج العود High Resin, Strong Fragrance - 40g All-Natural Agarwood Bakhoor

These are what I can only assume are the farmed agarwood chips. These planks have 1 side that's laden with resin, which you face up when burning. Compared to other oud chips and bakhoors I've burned, I would say these are mildly scented. Breaking up 3 planks on an electric burner set at around 210°F was not enough to fill a small room with the scent. Perhaps I will try it on traditional coal to see it's effects. That being said, the scent is pleasant. The oud scent is very nice and calming. There's nothing animalic or barnyard to it. It's a clean, almost powdery, slightly sweet oud. I'm not mad at it. It arrived very quickly and for the price, it's not bad at all and was kinda what I was expecting, so I'm not disappointed in it. These would be perfect for someone new to oud or those new to using bakhoor. These probably won't satisfy those looking for a more intense scent experience. I personally wish they were stronger, as I enjoy a heavily scented oud. But I also understand for the price these are pretty decent. If you're new to oud or bakhoor I would recommend these. If you're an experienced user you may want to seek something more intense. Overall, very nice and I'm happy with the purchase.
