Excellent toy. I love that is has auto shut off feature on it. Saves me from constantly recharging it and the kitty gets to play longer too. It goes for 2 hours on a charge. My kitty loves it and played with it for 5 hours the first night. I especially liked that the rope coming off it is tough enough I don’t have to worry about him chewing it off and ingesting it. Great distraction for when you want to get stuff done and kitty wants to play

What a terrific toy. Its random movements and chirping make it seem like a real creature. One of my cats watches it, fascinated. The other one runs from it. But the real joy comes from my dog, who chases it, runs from it, and barks at it. So fun to watch er.And it's hard to destroy. My dog got it off my counter, tore the tail off, removed the plastic ball holder, and slid the rubber ball cover out of whack. Because the toy includes a second tail, I was able to get it back together and working again. Yay!Definitely worth the money.

This device performs as expected. Seems to be built with good quality parts and also seems very durable. It does sometimes get stuck behind furniture and such, but I don’t think that can be avoided with such a device.

I’ve tried all sorts. Some are too slow. Some are too small and get lost. Some only work for short amounts of time. This one… this one is built different.Why it’s the best one:1. Size Matters. This is the first one that we have yet to lose. Another popular brand is way too small, has a short tail and we’ve lost at least 3 of them. This one is slightly bigger so it’s not easy to lose. The tail is long enough to help you find it if it does get stuck somewhere. We’ve had it for a few weeks and have always been able to find it. More on how that’s possible below.2. SLEEP MODE FOR THE WIN.The functionality is top tier. It has several modes. Fast and slower modes are great. But my favorite thing is that you can turn this on before you go to work and it’ll entertain the cats all day! It plays for a few minutes, sleeps for about 45 mins, then turns back on for a few mins to let your cat know it’s go-time. If your cat bats at it, it turns on for another full cycle of play. If they don’t play with it, it sleeps for another 45 mins and starts again.So it’s something you can leave on, it saves its own battery life, and does what all working cat parents want in a toy - to be an interactive activity while you’re away making money for more cat toys.3. Battery life is great so far. We’ve charged it maybe twice in a few weeks and we have this on literally all day every day. But be sure to actually charge it fully before you show it to your cats. It doesn’t have much juice right out of the box for safe shipping.This one will pick up hair from the floors around the sides but it’s super easy to clean in like 2 seconds. The tail is long enough for you to catch if you need to while it’s zooming around.The only con we’ve found with this one is if we forget to turn it off at night. But that’s our issue and not the toys, ya know?It’s worth the money because it’s such better quality than the competitors. You’ll find others cheaper, sure but they don’t last like this one.

TL:DR; Cute, Affordable, Easy to clean, Cat safe, Sturdy, and Fun!!I just received this cat toy today and right out of the box it worked incredibly well. I was a little worried about its sturdiness since it moves quite quickly and was subject to hitting walls or furniture, but the rubber casing it comes in protects it very well.My cat wasn't too sure about it at first, but after several minutes, she was obsessed! It has three modes as listed, and it was very easy to switch between each of them. She enjoyed the blue "fast" mode and the yellow "interactive" mode the most.I also have to say, cleaning it is incredibly easy. The rubber casing comes off and is easily wiped down with water. I would not use anything other than water or vinegar diluted with water since you want it to be cat safe, but any of the dirt collected on the rubber wiped off very easily. The ball also crept its way into some tight corners and collected hair, but it was very easy and simple to remove and did not get caught in anything. For $20, I'd say this is a great product.I will also say that if your cat is overweight or older, they might have some initial disinterest in the toy, and I'd recommend offering silver vine and catnip to them before offering the toy. It may also be jarring to your cat if you put it on the "fast" mode first, and I'd recommend the "slow" or "interactive" mode beforehand. Also, keep an eye on the toy!! I wouldn't leave it out all the time simply because the toy could turn off behind a couch or underneath something your cat might not be able to get to, and then it will be lost.If you have a multi-cat household, I'd also recommend you to please, please get more than one!! My cat was locked into this hunter mindset even after playing with said toy, and if multiple cats are chasing the same object or toy, it can and will cause fights.This is not a replacement for one-on-one play with you and your cat, but is an excellent overall source of enrichment when paired with treats, and is easy to offer while you make dinner or watch TV, not to mention is a great deal for the cost.
