Nice for practice
As stated, it arrives deflated. It didn't come with a pump either, but I have a compressor and ball needles so it wasn't an issue for me.It seems pretty durable. I gave it a couple bounces before we gifted it to my son's friend and it seems to be exactly what you would expect. (In a good way.)One thing I would caution is to make sure you have a good solid wall to throw this against. It has some heft to it, and I could imagine it could do some damage to drywall, aluminum garage doors, or windows. There is another reviewer video showing this being thrown against a window, but I wouldn't trust myself or my kids to do that. Especially not repetitively! I'd suggest finding a nice brick or cinder block wall, some sturdy siding, or maybe setting a piece of plywood against a wall for a firm surface.

A unique football
This is a unique football that my son wanted. He uses it to throw against the wall and to catch it on the bounce off the wall. It is somewhat eratic and not a perfect spiral on the bounce off but it works well enough and a normal football would never do that. He and I throw the ball like a normal football and it will spiral like a normal football. It is more like a flying bumblebee and toy ball versus a real football. But if you wanted a real football then you would buy a real football. He loves this ball and uses it all the time playing by himself. The synthetic leather is still in good shape after much play outside with it hitting the grass, dirt, and concrete and also bouncing off off brick and siding walls. This is a great gift for someone wanting a unique football.

No throwing partner needed—Great!
We bought this pass/catch football for our eight-year-old grandson who’s learning to play touch football. If you know eight-year-olds, you know how persistent they can be at wanting to play catch. Over and over again they want to play catch. That’s why this Pass/Catch football is such a great find: your aspiring football player can practice on their own!Yes it looks quite odd—but it works quite well. Inflate the ball (alert: No ball inflation needle is included with this—make sure you have one on hand) and you end up with a ball that looks as if a regular football has been chopped at about 2/3 of its length. The flattish end is where the magic is: When you wrap your hand around the football and throw a pass toward an outdoor wall, the “flat” side hits the wall evenly and the ball comes flinging back at the thrower to catch. That’s it—passing and catching practice all with just one person. It’s genius! We did find that this ball is not really well-balanced and tends to topple a bit in spiral flight, but, for youngsters learning to play, it’s not enough of an imbalance to likely be noticed by a beginning football star.

Doesn’t bounce far enough
The football over all is good but if you’re trying to use this to get some long range throwing/ catching practice this is not the product that you should get because when you throw the ball from one far place to another the ball will not bounce or fly back to you. However the color is nice on the ball the black goes with the green well. Also, the texture of the ball is also nice and soft for good catching and preventing injuries.

Awesome invention!
The media could not be loaded. My 11 year old son was so excited for this football that he aired it up as soon as we opened the package! It was super easy to inflate: He did it in seconds. This football is also easy to use: Aim the flat end toward the wall, throw, and it bounces back to you. You can use this football to practice throwing and catching all by yourself. It’s a great training tool. It’s also a good value for the money. I recommend. It would make a great gift for the young football player in your life.

Better quality than the name brand one that we have
The material is thicker, the seams seem to be stitched better, and the weight is more consistent than the high price tag training football that we got from Academy. Our son goes for this one each time he is training now.

Eliminates need for a partner
Great ball but you’ll need a wall.My 6-year-old is all about football. This training ball is an interesting concept and gets him catching and tossing a football-feeling ball on his own.It looks like the pictures, blunted on one side, missing the point. It’s tough fake-leather and can withstand some rough play against the racquetball court walls at our local park.Arrived with a handy manual inflator.
