Cross A. T. Fountain Pen Ink - Black, 62.5 ml Glass Bottle, Pack of 1

I really liked the quality of this cross ink for my cross pen, especially it being waterproof.

Nice and black. Dries quick.Will notify of archival properties in 10 years. Or when it fades to grey.

The lid wouldn't budge, as so many on here have warned. Tried it with a teatowel - failed. Tried warming the lid - failed. Tried rubber gloves - failed. Hmm. Tried using molegrips over a teatowel - thankfully, it opened without too much effort. Before that, I was starting to wonder whether the anti-clockwise thread was the other way around for some reason!After I had got the bottle opened, I found that this ink is truly lovely stuff in my Cross fountain pen - smooth and velvety.

As per other reviews (helpful), the lid was only removable with a pair of adjustable grips holding the black lid (applying minimal closing pressure on the grips) whilst other hand rotated the bottle. Poor design. Have left it 45deg from fully tightened to stand a chance of reopening it by hand. Otherwise the pen and ink are great to write with.

This ink is just the job, OK it can be a bit messy but that's only if you are not taking care, its of very good quality and last for ages.

The media could not be loaded.  Hey that the bottle is really thick and takes a great day moron to break it. It ain't that hard to open it it's like a child safety proof cap. Push down and twist it is easier than opening a jar of tomato sauceThe size of a craft dinner box of the ever had one or Mac and cheese or whatever you do want to call it, is about 3 bottles hi. The bottle itself is one third of that. Its thickness is a stick as a craft dinner box. So you're getting plenty of ink for the money is worth.The ink cartridges are not a good deal if you're using pens regularly they're only good if you're on the go and you need that ink badly. Davvero, non credevo. Rispetto a marche più blasonate riguardo gli inchiostri per stilografica, Non avevo grandi aspettative per questo inchiostro che però avevo già testato in formato cartuccia. Invece si tratta di un gran bel nero, brillante e intenso. Lo consiglio proprio.

Le noir est profond et d'une brillance parfaite. Ni brillant, ni terne. Mon stylo plume marche très bien avec. Etant un encre de calligraphie, il est indélébile. Sèche plutôt rapidement, il faut du papier > 90g pour qu'on ne voit pas au travers. Je recommande et le rachèterai sans problème. Il y a beaucoup de commentaires sur le fait que le flacon s'est cassé et/ou est difficile à ouvrir. Personnellement avec un torchon et en faisant attention je n'ai eu aucun problème. Cependant en le refermant je ne serre pas trop pour éviter de galérer à la réouvrir.

I have a fountain pen made by cross that I purchased about 5 years ago so I have an old bottle that is getting low. This ink last a long time and is great for writing.
