The boys are ecstatic about the WW2 figures. Though the boys are happy, they were quick to find not all 30 military figures were present.

They were shoved in a box, we separated he figures and re-boxed them

These figures come individually bagged, all jammed together in a plain white box. The quality is good and they go together easily, though the wrist joints are looser than lego and the arm joints are tighter. Almost every figure has a unique torso and face print which was a pleasant surprise. Many also have special helmets like the French adrian helmets or the soviet fur hats (I don't know what they're called, sorry). Some helmets do come down a little over the eyes but it's not too bad. The uniforms appear very accurate at a glance, with crisp printing and good colors. Most of the buckles and belts are even in a metallic color so the details really pop. The printing is only on the front - nothing on the arms, sides, or backs.Overall these figures are not as perfect as lego equivalents but you get a ton of them with wonderful WW2 details for a great price.

I recently had another assortment of figures in this theme and these have some overlap with that set. I went for this one because when looking at the images, I had hoped, incorrectly, that someone had finally produced WWII figures whose skin tones went beyond light nougat to include nougat and medium tan.Beyond my disappointment with their complexions, the prints on these figures are excellent quality with great details. The prints are only on the front side, however, and continue from the torso to the hips, so hips aren't easily interchangeable. Arms hold some hands too tightly or allow them to rotate too freely, but most are acceptable. Hips are all two-post style rather than the rotatable single-post type that appear in some assortments. Each figure is individually bagged, and bagging erred on the side of providing me enough extra pieces for an entire bonus figure minus a right arm.Overall, this is a good assortment that will complement others in this theme. I won't hold my breath for anyone to put out a batch of Tuskegee Airmen, but I'm still hoping for some melanated Mediterraneans and tan-toned forces of Asia.
