When Apple changed from using its Lightening cables for charging and data transfer, to USB 3, users were left with a collection of old cables they couldn’t use. While the old Lightening cables couldn’t handle the data transfer speeds of USB 3, they were just fine for charging your new iPhone. These adapters made it possible to do just that. They slide on to the end of your Lightening cable and connect to the new standard. They also come with a tether so that you can use your cable with your old devices and not worry about losing the adapter. These are well made, work as intended and solve a real need. I just bought a new phone not realizing the charger connection has been changed once again. So thank goodness for these Lightening to USB adapters to save the day and prevent my current chargers from becoming useless. So far they work great and don’t negatively impact the speed or connection etc. They even come with little clips to attach them to the cord so they don’t get lost. And they come in several colors too. The price is very reasonable and costs much less than it would cost to purchase all new chargers. Very pleased overall.

What a great way to keep using my existing charging cables and not have to toss then and buy all new ones. They work great and are a fraction of the cost of buying all new cables for my phone!!!

I purchased these adapters because I replace my iPhone XR which had a lightning connector with a new iPhone 16 which has the USB-C connector. I didn't want to have to buy new cables to replace all my USB to lightning cables. The adapters worked great. My phone charged with no problems. I also used them on the cables we have in both our vehicles and Apple CarPlay worked flawlessly. I was able to use Google Maps on my information screen in my GMC pickup and my wife's Honda Pilot. Playing music from my phone over both vehicle's audio system using Carplay worked well. The adapters were of good quality and they each came with a nice loop which fit snuggly on the adapter and the other end fit nicely around the cable so you can disconnect the adapter from the cable, and it would remain looped to the cable so you won't have to store it or possibly lose it. This works great if you wish to use another phone with a lightning connecter on the cable instead of the USB-C connection. This feature is very handy. I was disappointed the adapters would not work on my new iPhone 16 with my earbuds with the Apple lightning cable connection. However, on the Amazon page for the product this is clearly stated although down towards the bottom of the webpage. Plus, the document that came in the package with the adapters clearly stated that the adapters would not work with the lightning cable earbuds. I will probably buy Bluetooth ear buds to solve this problem. All in all, this was a nice product for a good price, and I would recommend it for charging, data transferring and the Apple CarPlay ability.

These are wonderful. We upgraded to the Apple iPhone 16 ProMax and the Apple iPhone 16. I had just purchased new 10-foot long lightening charging cords for all of our current devices about three weeks before upgrading the phones. I was absolutely shocked to discover that the new iPhone 16s all required a slightly different charging port. I think the charging cord that came in the boxes were only about 12 inches long and not practible. The salesman at the wireless store referred me to these adapters. I chose the 4-pack because we needed four new devices. These little adapters work great!! I did not have to go out and buy new 10-foot long charging cords with these simple adapters. One of the adapters did break, but it was Great Grandma's charger and she may have been too rough when she unplugged her phone from the charger. I decided to buy another 4-pack because I was happy with the initial purchase. These also come with a little silicone "leash" that attaches to the charging cord and the adapter so if the adapter falls off when unplugging, it won't fall on the floor and be hard to find.

Great converter for charging, but not for Apple CarPlay. Didn’t work.

These were perfect after the chargers changed. I never change my phone until I absolutely have to and didn’t know about the charger change until later. Instead of buying a new cable, I got these and was able to keep my cables while just putting these on and being able to use them without spending tons of money on more chargers. They dot get too hot, they work well without struggle, and they’re not obtrusive or clunky and in the way.
