Pretty good
I’m heading into the law enforcement path and SRT teams. I have not yet put it to the test yet but I believe this will work great. It works wonderfully for range use and I have used it for airsoft here and there and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Esstac Double Mag gap holster.
Mounted my Esstac double mag holster to my Tacticon war belt and couldn’t be happier. They are built rugged and tough. The construction is solid. The retention is amazing. The mags aren’t going anywhere. I feel comfortable moving around and the mags not falling out. The black Multicam looks great. Shipping arrived ahead of schedule in great condition. 🙏🏼🇺🇸

Don't hesitate... buy this
I've always used mag pouches with a flap because I was paranoid about my magazines falling out while running. I am 100% positive that my mags will not fall out after even the most strenuous activity. They give you all of the benefits of a hard plastic mag pouch and the benefits of a nylon pouch with none (from what I can tell) of the drawbacks. They hold my double stack and single stack magazines equally well, although my single stacks are Glock single stacks so they are already on the chucky side. I would assume that a thinner single stack such as a 9mm or 380 1911-style would fit well enough too but I cannot confirm that. I will be buying more of these in the future as I switch my mag pouches over to these.VERY happy with this purchase

Excellent retention
Easy to see why everyone recommends Esstac. The retention is excellent and fast to remove. No delay having to fuss with a bungee. I recommend these and will buy again.
