Just what I wanted!
It's hard finding safe spice blends with multiple allergies. The quality of my previous brand (McCormick) went down drastically in the last few years so I was on the hunt. This was what was within my budget and seemed safest. Its a hit! It is mild but not flavorless, gives a nice warmth but no burning, eyes watering, sinus clearing punch I dislike. I use quite a bit of chili powder especially in dips and marinade this has a good balance if you prefer to taste your food than feel the burn.My favorite fast "recipe" featuring solely this spice.Half a rotisserie chicken shredded1 can corn1 can black beans1 small cash sliced olivesChili powderSalsa/onion & cilantroCoat the shredded chicken liberally with the chili powder. Drain the canned goods then add and mix. Serve hot or cold with salsa or other accompaniments you have on hand.

It absolutely tastes just like Mexican food
Which is not what I was going for, but I'll keep it when I want my food to taste like Mexican food.

BARBIE-SIZED teeny tiny item
Granted I didn't need, or want to pay, for a ton -- but this item is truly SO TINY I couldn't stop laughing upon removing it from the Whole Foods bag....TRULY BARBIE SIZED!

Great alternative to more processed chili powders!
This has a great flavor and has been a great gluten-free alternative for us!

Good, but probably overpriced.
We are making changes in our diet, slowly but surely. We started with getting rid of all additives in food - our new motto "If it's not food, don't put it in your mouth." Without dieting, this change alone got my husband off his blood pressure medicine, made it so the doctors can no longer find evidence of his previously diagnosed liver condition, and he dropped 50lbs over 2 years. That might seem like a long time, but please keep in mind, he did no dieting - so these results just happened. He's kept the weight off the same way - by making sure that anything that goes in his mouth is food, whole food, & nothing but food. Our whole family is happier and healthier. So, I had been having to make my own chili powder blend, because we couldn't find any - even at a store that specializes in health foods that were what we refer to as 'clean'. They all had fillers and/or additives. I went on an internet search and found this product. Note: It is a blend, so make sure that's what you're looking for. I have used it in a couple of dishes, and find it's a good chili powder. So, I'm giving it a good review.I do; however, find this to be rather expensive (around $20). That seems a lot to me for a spice. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that we are being charged this much, because there aren't any alternatives - not because it costs that much to make this product or because the product is worth it. Our family paid it, because we wanted something without unnatural additives, but we didn't feel good about it & if I find a less expensive brand that meets our new dietary lifestyle - I will change brands.

Great Flavor
This item is free of so many common allergies! I especially love how the Chili Powder has the perfect blend of spices that work for any cuisine, like Mexican or Mediterranean.
