Purchased this because of the stainless steel tank, and a good growing height for plants.. Easy to set up, and everything is packed neatly in the box, so no damages were sustained. Easy to understand basic instruction booklet, with FAQ on the website. The app is good, though I've yet to work out how to remove plant details from only one pod when growing something new in that pod. I somehow also deleted all the growing info and notes for all the other pods. App does therefore lack some user instructions for certain things. Perhaps in time, I'll have the app all figured out properly. To date, I've grown from seeds - marigolds, lavender (lavender seeds do take around a month to germinate, far longer than other plants), tomato plants, apple tree from pips (though obviously what grows is not true to the actual apple variety) and have then repotted into pots when the plants have reached a good size. I'm currently growing a micro tomato plant (seed put into system 20 days ago) and will leave this in the system until all the tomatoes have grown. Plus, I'm also growing some more lavender. I'm currently only growing 4 plants in total, because I don't want the roots to clog up the water pump. Water level is measured with the indicator situated on top......gets in the way, so would perhaps be better if the water level indicator was built into the front of the stainless steel tank. The kit only includes the bare minimum of baskets, grow sponges, stickers, so you quickly run out of those and have to buy more. Only 6 of the black pod blanks are included, so I've had to buy some extra for when I'm only growing a few plants. Shame that more than 6 blanks are not included in the kit. The water pump runs ok every 30 minutes, then rests for 30 minutes. One thing the instructions do not tell you, is that it is necessary to add a fan which helps keep oedema at bay, makes the plants stronger etc. I had a bit of a problem, but LetPot customer services soon sorted this out for me, so I'm really pleased to know that LetPot do take care of customer concerns etc. Spares can also be purchased from LetPot. Lights work well, though I've had to move plants from the outer edge pods nearer to the middle, because once the plants have grown larger, their leaves grow outside the width of the grow light canopy. Frequently turning them round does also help. Initially, once plants have germinated and the plastic dome cover has been removed, I've found that it is best to tilt the grow light panel downwards, this helps stop the plants from getting too leggy because the growlights on the lowest setting is still too high when the plants are small. The water pump is quiet, and I can't hear it running unless I'm right next to the system. Only time will tell with regards to whether or not the system is value for money .......all depends on the longevity of the water pump, grow lights, etc. However, I've no hesitation in purchasing another LetPot hydroponic system.

It’s a very well designed item and build quality seems good too, the app is brilliant easy to use and has all the functionality you might need, a few things failed to thrive but that is more related to fact not all plants need same thing at same time, so need to either plant things that need same level of light ect at same time or modify the conditions of the 12 slots to fit. Also a slight issue I am growing herbs but each of the the 12 plots are great but a little small in most cases to produce enough of a harvest to be of great long term use, but great way to begin growing then transplant the sponges to a larger pot

Great set up. Really enjoying being able to continue ‘gardening’ over the winter. The LetPot is good quality for the price and very easy to get started with. I am growing leafy greens and herbs: mizuna, mustard red frills, rocket, lettuce and basil. These types are great to start with as germination is relatively quick and you can make good progress with them.I have this on the window sill in an unheated kitchen. For this reason, I have it set up on a heated mat to keep it up around 20°C overnight.Once set up, the LetPot is easy to manage and I have been changing the water/nutrients once a week. There is a small plug/bung at the bottom which makes it easy.

●nice mini garden, perfect for us and for anyone who lives in a flat or doesn't have access to a garden, is not big but still gives you that filling when planting your own vegetables in the garden. This garden kit is very comprehensive, apart from the water and seeds it includes everything needed to set it up and the provided user manual is very useful, especially for beginners (everything is explained, even what and how to do with the plants)●very easy to install and use, it takes about 10 min to put everything together. I used mine to plant some tomatoes and parsley, after 7 I have some results for tomatoes but the parsley seems to take a little longer, anyway works perfect and the pump is very quiet while working, can be used in bedroom.●this kit is quite smart, it can be set manually using the touch buttons on top of the lamp or through LetPot app( free in appstore) but needs be connected to a wifi network (only 2.4GHz). Once connected, the mini garden and all the settings can be done from the app, just a mini camera is missing, to see your plants from wherever you are.●the quality seems to be quite good and once assembled looks really nice but the finish for the lamp doesn't look very aesthetic (shown in the pictures). Apart from this only the price seems to be quite high in my opinion.

This kit was easy to assemble, and is good quality. The LED adjustable lights are a useful feature that allows you to grow larger plants. I'm currently growing a tomato and chilli plant. It also acts as a good looking living lamp at nighttime, a bonus feature. Germination and growth rates are impressive. Good value for money.

Day 71 and the water pump has stopped working completely.The whole point of a hydroponic system is reliable water circulation, but after just over two months the pump has failed, leaving me with what is essentially a very expensive grow light.Everything was working well until this point, but a hydroponic unit is only as good as its pump. For a product at this price, I expected much better reliability and longevity.Unless LetPot provides a quick and satisfactory solution, I can’t recommend it based on my experience. A system failing after only 71 days is simply not acceptable.

This thing is amazing. I grew massive basil plants just from a few leaves I got in Tesco. Spring onions grow faster then I can eat them - again, just from stubs leftover from a Tesco order. Really amazing product, highly recommended!Note: you can easily print additional hole caps if you have a 3D printer - loads of models around. I also 3D printed a small funnel to pour water in as the hole is a bit small.

Great at what it does, internet connection can be a bit touch and go.Good value compared to AUK etc.Assembly quick up and running in minutes.Tomato plugs were ready for transplant in three weeks.

I have purchased 3 of these in the past two weeks. I am new to this and still learning.I wanted to purchase a larger one like Gardyn or Rise Garden but I did not want to pay the prices or for the memberships. A lot of them got pricey very quickly and the membership cost is ridiculous. So I stuck with this company for that reason and I am happy so far.Pros:Size is fine for what I am using it for.Pump seems to be goodWater flow seems to be good.Appearance is over all fine just wish they offered more color choices.Plant health so far so goodFunction so far so good. Does not make any noise turning off or on unless you have it set up that way.Easy to put togetherUse pitcher with plant food is way easierWe do not have a huge house. So I purchased a cart from Menards and placed the units on it. Cart will make it easier to move from the living area to the sunporch when it gets warmer outside.Price for this project was around $250. That includes seeds, extra kit with sponges,holders, stickers etc, cart, 3 LetPot units which is way cheaper than the Gardyn or Rise Gardens. This way I can plant what I want rather than buying pods and spending more money.ConsThe app has its moments. I purchased this 1st unit and received my next two units yesterday. I wanted to just add plants on the app within same unit and take a few off and it made me just delete the whole thing and start over. That was frustrating. I did learn once you start another unit on the app trust me delete the old one and start from the beginning way easier.App I don’t like how it doesn’t list more herbs,vegs, fruits etc. you have to add them manually and it sucks. So get google ready you will need it.Over all I love them. Basically it’s easy to use. I like the sponges rather than dirt or clay in my opinion there is no mess.I highly recommend this productAmazon delivery on the hand was horrible. I received a big box with other two units yesterday. Delivery guy puts box on the ground and then kicks the box into the window well. I caught it on security camera. Which broke one of the units all together. I contacted Amazon after opening the unit that was broke and they are sending a replacement. Should be here today we will see.
