Outstanding value
This is an excellent clamp at a budget price. Compared with an "economy" 6-inch clamp selling for only slightly less, it's far superior in every respect. For example, both the screw and the tensioning bar are larger in diameter, and the pad is swaged on to the end of the screw rather than being held on with a rivet. The casting of the frame provides for reinforcement at the corners. The maximum opening, listed as 5", is actually 5-1/4". You can't go wrong with this one,

Loose threading,sloppy threading has to much play and walks away from the clamp
Garbage clamps.The treading is to sloppy to put any real usable force down without it walking out on you.If they had better quality control and tighter threads it wouldn't be so sloppy.Both clamps screws walked so much they bent themselves by just tightening them.
