This arrived and it's about 3" long, tiny in comparison to my original aerial which is about 15" long. It comes with metal screws, which I didn't need, as the actual aerial fits very well onto my 2008 Ford Focus.I was amazingly surprised that once it was on, the radio was great, I didn't think such a short aerial would work, but it does, delighted.

I got this for a 2006 Ford Fiesta to replace the existing aerial. The base of this is 1.5cm in diameter so it was a bit bigger that the fixing I was screwing it into which was disappointing from a cosmetic point of view. The real problem was that I couldn't screw it in properly because the thread embedded in the aerial would just spin around so I couldn't make full contact, this meant that it didn't function, the reception on the radio was poor.It comes with three adapters but I didn't need them. You may have more joy than me but I had to revert to the original aerial.
