Great for keeping bugs off
Brought this on my fishing trip to keep the bugs off me at night and worked great. Very breathable for the summer weather right now. Fit very well and had option to where with hood up or down. Made night fishing a lot more enjoyable without getting bit.

My Superhero Outfit is Now Complete [FIVE STARS]
The next time you run across a super-hero, ask them what they think is the greatest threat to their existence. What do you suppose? Getting shot or stabbed fighting robbers and thugs? Nope. Or maybe itās tangling with super-villains and their mad-science weapons like freeze rays or death beams. No. The answer is plain old sunlight! The U.V. in that crap can give you cancer! Now if you think noonday sun exposure is bad walking down the sidewalk, put yourself in my shoes... perched at the top of the bay bridge surveying the city for crime or stuck to the side of a large, mirrored sky-scraper as I watch Dr. Sinister unload something suspicious from the back of his unmarked utility van... For all the radiation Iām receiving, I may as well work at a nuclear plant. Thatās why I wised up and ordered a Dafifo Summer Balaclava 2-pack.Now, truth be told, after years of wearing a Lone-Ranger-type mask on the job, I was skeptical that covering my entire head, face, and neck with a balaclava would even be tolerable in the stifling summer heat. If nothing else, the lesson I learned from that whole ābat incident,ā (Iām talking about COVID, not Batman) is that just because a mask is made of ābreathableā fabric doesnāt necessarily mean that you can actually breath through it.Well, Iām happy to report that my fears were unfounded. Having worn one of these balaclavas for many hours now, Iām pleasantly surprised at how cool and comfortable it really is. Itās sufficiently thin (or porous) that I can actually feel a breeze on my face through the fabric, yet my rugged good looks are completely shielded from 98% of the damaging rays from the sun. Most importantly, I can still breathe easily through the fabric. If you ride a motorcycle or bicycle to work and need protection from the sun, I think youād appreciate this.A nice feature of this balaclava are the slots in the sides. The temple pieces of my Coke-bottle glasses fit perfectly, and the elastic nature of the balaclava actually helps keep my Mr. Magoos in place when situational awareness requires that I whip my head around. The pressure of the fabric pushes my ears flat and streamlines my head. Iād swear I can run faster when Iām wearing this. And did I mention that people seem friendlier when I wear my balaclava? Last night I walked into a party store in the bad part of town just after midnight. Before I could even asked how much the Red Bull was, the clerk held up both his arms and yelled enthusiastically, āJust take what you want and go!ā That kind of appreciation is how I know Iām making a difference. My only criticism, if I must voice some, is this balaclavaās tendency to squash my nose like a pug. Maybe as I break it in, the elastic will relax a bit and it leave my otherwise aquiline nose unfettered. While this product excels at full face-and-head ultraviolet light protection, you can configure this balaclava in several different ways. The photos on the website depict five modes including looks I call the ācattle rancher,ā āolympic swimmer,ā āninjaā, āpirate,ā and ārobocop.ā This means that if my crime-fighting gig doesnāt pay off, there are four other professions I can pursue and still use my Dafifo balaclavas. One thing does leaving me guessing: Iād like to know how the Amazon web page modelās hair stays so perfectly styled after removing his balaclava. When I get home after a night of crime-fighting, my smokinā hot trophy wife (who doesnāt know Iām a superhero) always wants to know why I look like I just got out of bed.

Very "slippery" and comfortable
I primarily got these for me and my son to wear under our motorcycle helmets. They are nice and thin, so they don't feel like they make the helmet tighter, and I can still hear our helmet comms no problem. They're nice and "slippery", so they actually make putting on and taking off the helmets a lot easier. When it's really hot, though, the evaporative cooling effect stops when the sweat dries out, and then it feels like they make things a little warmer. Then again, once the thermometer is above core body temp, everything feels warmer. I can't wait until the colder weather comes, because I'm curious to see if the neck gaiter helps take the bite out of the cold wind at speed.

Donāt recommend for helmets
After 2 uses with a helmet it ripped at the seams. It also moves a lot when you put on your helmet so itās not really convenient. I bought it to reduce helmet hair because I have long hair but I wouldnāt recommend if youāre not wearing it by itself.
