I have been trying to catch which dog has been not using the doggie door on our breezeway , this has been a God send. I pay $4.50 for the subscription for the monthly service. It is through VicoHome through my Play Store. You get a notification when someone/ something passes by the camera. It keeps about a 10 sec snippet. It keeps them in your history until you delete them. You can also speak through the camera & an alarm can be set off.

If someone was looking for an easy to setup camera to monitor their pets or kids, this would be a good choice. If looking to add another camera to an existing group of cameras this may not be the best option. I have multiple cameras in my home already connected through the Smart Home app, this camera only works with the VicoHome app. While this isn't a good fit for my existing camera group, I did find a good use for it. The setup is relatively easy once you get the app setup adding the camera is really simple. It did require a firmware upgrade as soon as it came online which is fairly normal. The video is clear and only slightly delayed, I have a fast network and this camera did struggle a little with choppy video when viewing the 2K stream, but was stable on the SD stream. For what I ended up using it for, the SD stream is fine for app viewing, I do like that you can set the record resolution separate from the viewing resolution. The power cord is long enough to reach higher above outlets than many of the other indoor USB powered cameras that I have used/tested. This is a good little camera at an affordable price. If someone wanted to setup an inexpensive home camera system this would be a good option as long as they purchased multiples of this camera. I took away a single star due to the limit of having to use a single app platform.

The app has a great interface and is very easy to use. Setting up the camera and connecting it to the app took me less than 5 minutes. It has good connectivity. The camera image quality is good, and it records 20 seconds to the cloud for free. There is an alarm system on the camera that can be set for 5, 10, or 20 seconds if desired. It has motion detection for people, human etc. This product is far beyond my expectations. For this price it is good choice.

This camera does everything you need for a great price. The quality does reflect 1080p or more depending on your connection as well in terms of glitches etc. The ability to place a micro sd card is there if you don’t wish to subscribe to the pay plans. Switches to night vision perfectly. This camera does everything I need it for.

You gotta keep this plugged in at all times just for this to work, so this is not discreet at all. Plus, who wants to have the cord just hanging out? A person would easily see this and be able to tamper with it due to the fact that it has to be plugged in at all times. The picture quality is not bad and does pick up on motion, but that's really the only good thing I have to say about this. It only takes 20 second videos before it tries to get you to upgrade to cloud storage. If you will be forced to pay for cloud storage, it would be better to buy a wireless camera from one of the well-known brands like Ring, Blink, or Wyze.
