PoE Passthrough Switch, 1 in 4 Out Extender, IEEE802.3af/at/bt POE Powered 90W, 100Mbps Ethernet, Din Rail & Wall Mount Plug and Play

This is working great running two Reolink Poe cameras through one Ethernet cable.

So far, this product has been fantastic. I encountered a customer who reported two cameras repeatedly dropping out. When I tested the cable, they were both over 375 feet which was pretty much the issue. Luckily there was a pull box located approximately 180 feet that the cables were in, but it had no nearby electrical power close by. I placed this bad boy in the box to cut down on the length of the cable run and eliminate the signal degradation, and the problem was resolved immediately. This item is totally plug and play, takes the heat well and function great.

I bought this POE passthrough switch in April 2024, (almost 2 yrs ago) and it has been in a utility box in the California sun the whole time. Never had any downtime issues, and does exactly what I need it to do - extend POE connectivity to my backyard for wired security cameras (3x Unifi G4 bullet cams).

Good product. Not powerful but buy fornless than $20 and your fine. Product page is fake. All generic white labels.

Works as expected

These are reliable devices that I use for adding multiple IP cams on a single run. I use them outside but enclose them for protection from the elements. Don't exceed the power limitations and it is very reliable.

I ended up using this in a bit of an...unconventional way. I had a 1-gang junction box that had 2 POE cat5e lines running into it. Inside the box, they connected to two other cat5e cables and continued on their way into an architectural media center, with one cable on each side of it. I wanted to add a 3rd connection on the 1-gang junction box itself, without sacrificing either of the two other cable runs, nor their POE. The problem is that no solutions would fit inside a 1-gang box. Well, I stumbled upon this thing and saw the measurements were just a hair too big for a 1-gang box. But maybe it would work if I removed it from its "weatherproof" case? Well, lo and behold, removing it from its case it actually easily fits inside a 1-gang box. I added some simple shrink-wrap tubing around it to protect it and prevent any short. Gave it a go and it works! It's powered by a Unifi Switch Lite PoE, and has a Unifi Flex Mini switch powered off of it. I did notice when holding it that it definitely gets fairly hot on its underside, but not enough to be concerned about it. Might be enough to shorten its life though. Time will tell.

Did Not support 2-REOLINK 4K RLC-811A cameras with 4 Watt Spotlights at Night on a PoE 802.3af switch. When a spotlight came ON both cameras went down; it only supported one camera. Now the 2 cameras are working great 24hrs a day on a PoE+ 802.3at switch.

Small. Lightweight. Has DIN rail connection if you want to use that. Have tested running 2 cameras (HDW5842T & Reolink Trackmix Pro) simultaneously. Most of the time these work fine. However, as another purchaser has pointed out the PoE doesn't always negotiate fully for downstream devices and will occasionally drop for a second.

Deze POE extender beveel ik niet aan. Na controle omtrent compatibiliteit, heb ik deze aangesloten om mijn access point van POE voeding te voorzien. Dit heeft ervoor gezorgd dat mijn access point niet meer werkt.
