This product can be used as cold or hot therapy . The instructions are very clear. However the font is very small and for such a useful product, it would be helpful to read it without straining eyes. The knee ice pack by newgo fits very well around the knee, even when knee is a bit on the larger size, and stays in place with velcro. Made of Neoprene, its flexible even when put in the freezer. It gives comfort to the affected area and stays cool for a long time. It comes with its own reusable freezer bag, so that the pack does not absorb freezer smells. This is a very good addition by manufacturers. it wipes clean after use, so maintenance is low. This product is flexible and portable. A must for aches and pains.

I ordered this for my partner as she was having some knee problems.She found this reusable hot/cold knee gel pack to be extremely comfortable. It wraps around the knee perfectly with plenty of coverage just above and below the joint. It also stays in place very well thanks to the elastic Velcro straps attached to the gel pack. These straps are soft and wide enough to keep it in place even when you are moving around.It's very easy to use. You just pop it in the freezer with a food grade bag to protect the gel pack. In a couple of hours it's ready for use. It stays soft and flexible even after being frozen.Overall we were both very impressed with this knee wrap. Highly recommended.

PROS-very flexible when cold (which is how I use it)-three different sized bands, for the different diameters of the leg (just make sure the company logo is upright)-kudos for including a zip-lock bag to isolate the wrap from fridge smells. It’s a simple thing, but it shows thought.-nicely finished (edges are hemmed and reinforced)CONS-cannot swap out cold pack, it is integral to the entire knee wrap (I have other knee cold packs that work with a separate holder, so I can swap them out)-doesn’t stay cold as long as my other (thicker) knee cold pack sets. This knee cold/hot pack is so worth the money. Having spent years trying to ice my knee and having to use makeshift things with frozen peas and tea towels, this is just great. It comes with instructions for cooling and heating. It has Velcro straps for above below and round the knee. The Velcro is really strong and you can actually get up and move about with it on if necessary. Because they are fully adjustable it will fit you whatever state your knee is in. I have quite small legs so it almost wraps the whole way round on mine. So impressed with this product!

Recently injuring a knee tendon I’ve been through too many braces over the past two weeks, and trying to prop up an ice pack on top of that. This solves that problem by combining both a hot or cold pack into the brace itself.I was more interested in the brace as the ones I’ve come across to test via Vine programme weren’t very good - just straps that are supposed go around your knee and don’t actually brace or restrict movement.This does, by slipping over and allowing to be tightened over the top and lower parts of your leg. It’s comfortable and at this point I don’t need very cold treatment, but I tested it out and it works well.So pleased with this, just hope I don’t need it too much longer, but it will be handy to keep with other medical supplies in the house just in case.

This is a large sized fabric covered gel pack that cools joints. The pack has three long velcro straps that allow it to be fitted to virtually all sizes of joint.The gel pack is naturally cooling, but when it's been in the freezer for a couple of hours it is really quite cold, sometimes a couple of hours in the fridge is enough for me. If you want this gel pack can also be briefly heated in the microwave for a warm pack rather than cooling.Included in the box is a food safe ziplock bag so that you don't have fabric that's been wrapped round people laying in the fridge, a nice touch.The gel pack is not removable, so you have to hand wash the whole thing when needed.

So according to the box this does both heat and cold therapy. It is also a flat gel piece with velcro elastic straps, and quite a large square of the gel, so will fit may different sizes and becuase its not shaped can be used on other part of the body as well, like the back.It seems well made and sewn together. I think the price is high (£19, May24) for this sort of thing, however it is versatile because its a flat square of gel, and could even have a use as a sort of hot water bottle perhaps!?

Tried this straight from the package, it immediately worked and felt cool on my knee. Three velcro straps to hold in place makes it a great fit. Comes with a marked storage bag to put it in the fridge.
