Breathable, well ventilated and very cute sandal that hides unpainted toenails
I wanted cute closed toe sandals to hide my feet when I am in need of a pedicure but also wanted breathable and ventilated shoes so my feet wouldn’t overheat on a hot summer day. These huarache sandals are perfection! They are cute, comfortable, and well made with high quality leather. They are expensive but worth it.The reviews led me to believe breaking them in was a horrible process. The leather was stiff when I first got them but I wore them for about 10 minutes a day for 4 days (a walk around the block) and the leather softened right up. I never got a blister or raw spot when I started wearing them all day. They became my favorite sandals in less than a week. The reviews also said to size down a half size which I did not do. I ordered my usual size because I didn’t want them to be too short. I have a slightly narrow size 8.5 m foot and I ordered the 8.5. They fit perfectly and I’m very pleased with the length. They seem to be adapting to my foot shape and are getting more comfortable with each wearing. The rose color is beautiful and matches my skin tone. The shoes exceeded my expectations and I’m glad I spent the extra $$ to have comfortable feet.Oct 2023 Update: I bought these shoes in April and I’ve had them all summer. They got more comfortable with each wear and still look good. They are well made and will last a long time. I would give these shoes I bonus star if I could because they earned it.

Love them!
It’s amazing! This shoe may be the next internet buy. I really looked at the shoes a lot before I bought them, hoping that they were as good as they seemed. I’m so happy I did. They’re very attractive looking like maybe they cost twice as much as they did. Quality is exceptional.

Pretty but painful
I have a wide toe box that I sized up to accommodate, and the shoes still dug in very painfully where the stitches press into the top of my feet. They are extremely pretty on my feet and the tan color is neutral enough for most of my wardrobe, but man, does beauty always have to go hand in hand with pain?

Beautiful, timeless
Im in love, almost zero arch support but I knew what I was getting into and love them anyways. Took just one 8 hr day teaching wearing them with socks to break them in, have been a perfect fit ever since. They ran big for me, I sized down

Good quality shoes, but I should've downsized a half size.
The shoes are great and I can tell they're going to mold to my feet well. But I'm a little nervous about that. I bought my usual size, a 6.5, because I saw the reviews that said a half size smaller were too tight. Also, I knew that people say Huaraches always run small. So I figured the 6.5 would be tight enough to loosen perfectly to my feet. I was wrong. They fit perfectly now, with room to spare, and will probably be too big once they start stretching. I'm likely going to try to shrink them a bit, or exchange them. I haven't decided yet. But a half size smaller would've been perfect for me.

Takes time to break them in
These shoes are incredibly comfortable—once you break them in. It took me four days of wearing them for a couple of hours each day with socks, and I still got blisters initially. They were very tight at first. But after that, they molded to my feet perfectly, and now I absolutely love them. They’re versatile enough for any occasion, whether at the beach or in the office. Plus, they’re like sandals but without the hassle of pedicures. I skipped the nail salon all summer, so these shoes practically paid for themselves!

Highly inconsistent sizing, impossible to know which to purchase
I purchased a pair of these shoes directly from the company in April. They were excellent; I wore them all summer. If anything, they are a bit loose after stretching out, even though I sized down when purchasing. I then bought this pair in a different color, but exact same size, same model. However, I am unable to wear them without extreme pain. I have tried breaking them in and it has not worked at all. It’s like a completely different shoe, at least a full size smaller than the previous pair even though they are marked the same size. I’m very disappointed in the product.

Great quality
So I was so excited about these shoes because they are so retro to me and my childhood. They arrived VERY nicely packaged. They smell great like leather and they look pretty good but the color was not quite what I thought it would be. Not bad just different. I bought the tan. I did not size up or down. I wear an 8.5 and I am glad because they fit perfectly. They may stretch as I wear them but there is noway I could have handled breaking them in to stretch as they already fit fairly snug. First day wearing them and they don't hurt too bad. Maybe my left foot more than my right. My daughter was horrified that I bought them and said "Mom you aren't bringing those back, hate to tell ya" but I beg to differ. I love them. The sole is a little harder/stiffer than I imagined but I will get used to it. I do feel like they are well made but the price seems very steep. I didn't mind pay over $100 just because I NEVER do spend money on shoes but these LOOK like $40 shoes maybe. But certainly not $100+. I do need to put some self-tanner on my feet at least so they don't completely blend in with the shoe.
