I have been supplementing with colostrum for the many health and wellness benefits. I just started this Colostrum Powder from govedic. Gir Cow Colostrum Powder. Colostrum is the first milk produced by cows immediately after giving birth. It's rich in antibodies, essential nutrients, growth factors, and other bioactive compounds. It is a colostrum made from Gir Cows. A2 Colostrum is ethically sourced at their farm where they use the extra milk that is left after feeding the calf. It seems a cow gives about 10-15 litres of Colostrum milk out of which the calf can consume only about 3-4 liters. So the remaining is used to make the powder. This seems to be a quality product made in India. It is unflavored, mixes easily and without any additives or other ingredients. It's label is confusing as it states take 2 grams as a serving a day, yet the included scoop is 1 gram and suggest to lightly scoop for approximately 1 gram of powder.

I've been taking colostrum powder/capsules for a few months and decided to try this brand (product of India). The product arrived well-packaged and undamaged; it has a safety seal under the lid and was additionally wrapped in plastic. So no safety worries there. The powder dissolves easily in most liquids; I usually mix it with a protein shake/milk in a blender bottle. The powder has a milky taste, which is fine in the combination stated above.The only confusing part is the nutrition information - it looks like it contains information for the entire canister, not for an individual serving. Also, a spoon is provided, but the side panel (in very faint print) says that a serving is 2 gm, while the spoon is about 1 gm.
