Zhuangzi: Bilingual Edition, English and Chinese: 莊子

Going through this classic work as part of a self-study on Classical Chinese. The English translation is not always very clear or intuitive; sometimes I feel like the translator was just as confused as I was. But this is definitely the best you’ll get at a price of a few dollars, and it comes in electronic format, which is of course the quickest delivery option.

I love this easy to read translation of Zhuangzi. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this for a Chinese born coworker who was retiring. He said he liked this edition. So I am giving it a good review. It is however quite spartan, and I have not read it myself, so I cannot vouch for the translation quality. Maybe I shouldnt even be reviewing it...

Faithful translation of one of the most admirable ancient Chinese books on philosophy.

The table of contents help navigating through the book easily. The English translation helps people like me who can read modern Chinese but have difficulty with ancient Chinese from time to time.
