Fits long beds!
I was looking for a tent to fit my 1961 gmc long bed. I was worried it wouldn't fit well as the bed is about 8' but I bought the biggest size (6.5') and it fit great! It's good quality for the value and I was able to set it up by myself. Can't wait to take it out later this month!

Great tent
Took this up to Maine as an additional space for someone to sleep in attached to my Tundra. Easy to set up and very waterproof. Huge thunderstorm that had so much heavy rain I was nervous that the tent would be soaked but bone dry! Only improvement I would make is a hole for an electric cord to fit through without using the door zip. Great first weekend with it.

Cool design, decent quality
I have a Chevy Silverado 2500 with a 6' foot bed. I currently have a camper shell on there, but sometimes, I like to go topless. This is the perfect accessory so you can leave the shell at home and still sleep in the back of the truck fully protected. The tent comes in multiple sizes, so be sure to select the correct one for your bed length. It is as easy to assemble as a typical dome tent, but has flaps that extend over the sides and tailgate of the truck to secure it down and keep water from filling your bed in the event of rain. I'm not sure how it would hold up in a wind storm, but who's camping during a windstorm anyway!?! (Put that thing away and drive home, LOL). The tent material is decent, much like a moderate quality "ground" tent. The windows are nice to keep airflow moving and ventilate the sleeping area. Combine this with a truck bed air mattress and you have a complete portable sleeping system.

Decent little bed tent
I used this over the weekend for some camping, it worked great. The only downfall was the zippers are kinda cheap and get stuck on the fabric and I had to break one of the main ones off the front door just to get in and out. Definitely be careful when zipping and unzipping the front flap

Poor-man’s RV! Tall and roomy.
I got this truck tent to allow me to use our truck as a portable tent. Clearly, you can’t drive around with it set up, but among other things, it guarantees that you have a flat place to sleep. It almost goes without saying that this tent all but requires an air mattress. I should have gotten the 6.5 ft size, not this 6’ size. We were able to make it fit, but it took some work. I can’t hold this against the tent.Positives:This is the ONLY tent I have ever gotten that has SEWN straps for tying up the folded tent [and I have had many tents]It is also the only one that includes and extra tent pole segments (2), and shock cord for repairing tent poles. The stitching in the tent is very good and the material strong: I had to push the tent poles extremely hard to set up the under-sized tent. The tent is quite tall, surprisingly so. My 5’5” wife can’t quite stand up inside, but that gives you the idea.Negatives:The documentation shows a strap with buckles for the tailgate – I found only straps with the metal hook.No hole for power cord from front or hole for access into the cab through the rear window. Not quite wide enough.Takes longer to set up than a ground-based tent. You have to make sure the truck bed is (completely) empty. This tent is not a 3 season tent. The fabric is too thin and being in a metal truck, up off the ground would make it difficult to keep truly warm. This truck tent cost $120 at the time of this review. For a basic tent, this is perhaps a little high, but considering the specialized use and construction, I think this is very fair price. At this price, and for the features, despite the minor short-comings, this tent deserves a 5 star rating.

Tailgate-Ready Tent
I recently purchased the Hey Trip pickup bed tent for my GMC Sierra and have had a pretty straightforward experience with it so far. The setup was manageable by myself, though I believe it would be quicker with an extra pair of hands. I also started to set the tent up on the driveway and then my wife and I lifted and placed onto the truck bed seems like the best approach .The tent fits snugly on the standard bed of the Sierra, making it a good match for the truck. We haven't slept in the tent yet but have plans to use it for tailgates and as a backup accommodation when visiting our kids at college. The tent feels spacious inside, providing ample room, which I appreciate. One thing to note in the photos I took—you'll see that we didn't fully strap down the tent to the truck. Also, our hardtop pickup bed cover was still folded up inside; we didn't remove it, but the tent accommodated it without any issue. We would remove the bed cover when we actually use the tent for sleeping or if weather isn't great during a college football tailgate. Also there are little hooks and a mesh net that can connect to the top of the inside of the tent so you could store a few things up there and also looks like there's a hook that you could hang a solar powered or LED lantern light. This tent seems like it will be a useful addition to our travel gear, offering a simple solution when hotels or rentals aren't available, or cost astronomical fees for one night. One thing that was hard to understand is the the instructions show A B and C collapsible tent poles and there are 3 of one size, 1 of slightly shorter size, and 2 small 1 section poles. Would have been nice if the instructions would have said the A poles had two the B pole was one and the C poles were two. I think I got the poles in the right areas but couldn't find where to put the C poles in front of the tent bottom section. Didn't seem to really matter but will be trying to figure everything out the next time we send it up.Looking forward to more practical uses soon!
