Bond 11+: English Assessment Papers: 12+-13+ years

Bond books are very good. Would suggest it is taken slowly through the years. Not to jump to the 11+ booklet. However there are no guidance notes on how to do the work so if you have not been taught or do not understand it will be very difficult to complete. It does provide a lot of useful information to improve general knowledge which unfortunately is lacking in primary school children.

It covers a wide range of genres but when it comes to answer it doesn’t explain but just answers. It might not be suitable for a self taught pupil.

Excellent age appropriate Comprehension texts..

I am using these papers not only with my students, but also with my Chinese friend, who is trying to improve her English Comprehension. The extracts are varied and interesting and are set at the correct level, while still manage to be challenging.
