They are better when heated up on a baked potato or pasta dish. A little plasticky on salad. I love these bits. Great bacon replacement!!!! I'm glad the chef can't up with this as an alternative. Praise to the chef and crew. I would like them have a lil more flavor but it's okay the way it is, like a less salty food for better health. I would like to see them in local stores with the rest of the salad topping products.

This is the second time we've bought these. Healthy ingredients for vegetarians and versatile uses. We like to sprinkle on salad, on top of baked potatoes and add to your eggs. Great quality, fresh tasting and a good value. They go a long way. Try them, you'll love them. Even if you're a meat eater.

These bacon bits have really good flavor and work well on a variety of foods. The only downside is they’re a little too crunchy, which makes the texture slightly tougher than expected. Still a solid and tasty topping overall.

Wow these are delicious and the texture is on-point! I made vegan chef salads to sell at a market and they were a big hit!

Let's be real, nothing vegan is going to taste like genuine bacon but these are crunchy, smoky and they're made of real food (beans). Yes, if you eat a handful of them you can tell they're beans. But sprinkle them on top of something like smothered tater tots and they'll do their job. When I made those for a potluck someone actually told me they couldn't tell the difference. I don't believe them, or maybe their taste buds were defective but it was still a nice compliment and I'll buy these again if I ever need vegan fake-on bits.

Definitely not what I was hoping for. I’ve been vegan for 30 years so my bacon standards are pretty low, but even this was “weak” in terms of flavor. The texture is like big flakes of fish food. Basically just dry pinto bean peels with no taste. They don’t even taste like beans, which would have at least given it SOME flavor.

Definitely not giving bacon-like vibes; the texture isn’t flavorful or chewy, it’s more super crispy and mild. I didn’t think it added much flavor to my salad.

Doesn't taste like bacon. Made from beans and tastes like beans. Crunchy enough. Good on salads with an oil vinegar dressing. Don't think it would be good with a cream dressing or on a baked potato.
