This is really unlike any other workbook on the market right now. It provides great summaries of topics with questions at the end of each topic; which is very beneficial because you don't have to keep flicking through another textbook while working on this one. At end of each section e.g. homeostasis you must write a review of all you have learned and then will be given a test. I feel like other workbooks such as CGP give you exam style questions, but they don't really make sure you understand the topic. It doesn't just feature questions, it teaches you how to make biological drawings and also has a really helpful maths section at the beginning covering pie charts, histograms, scatter charts, ratios, experiments etc.I believe it's main purpose is as a revision guide but I used it to prepare myself for before I did my A-Levels so I would have some basic understanding of higher biology. Saying that, this is not thorough enough, you need to buy a proper textbook like the official OCR one to make sure you're getting all the information.Only negative about this product is you have to buy the model answers booklet separately, people just assume they're at the back of the book. But make sure you buy both because biozone doesn't provide the answers on their website.After using this workbook and practising with it over and over. I can honestly say it's made me a lot more confident. I only wish they made a book like this for chemistry aswell!!

Comprehensive set of worksheets.

Excellent book.Great for revision and reviewing and has useful exam questions.A levels aren't easy and you need all the help you can get. This is a little bit of that help.Small downside - it would be useful if it was more colourful on the inside. Sometimes you can get a lift if things are colourful, especially when you open a revision book.I hope this review was helpful .

These books are the best revision tools! Better than CGP guides if you ask me because the content is more directed at answering exam questions rather than just learning the facts.
