This was my first sewing machine, going from my mothers vintage vx-857. Very easy to use and figure out. Super light so i can move it around the house with ease. The stitch patterns are beautiful and come out great!Absolutely love the ease of setting up the bobbin.I see it hanging around for many years to come!

I like this sewing machine. It's very beginner-friendly—and I'm a real beginner, and if I can muddle along, so can you! I hadn't touched a sewing machine since middle school, and I was never very good to begin with, but after a lot of trial and error, I've been doing the basics. It took a bunch of tries to figure out how to thread the machine, but it's not that hard. When I mess up, I can usually see where I've gone wrong and correct my mistake. Now I can hem things, so it's saving me a lot of money. No need to go to the tailor for basic hemming. Definitely recommend for the average lay person who's a little handy and wants to make basic alterations.

Ok.. so it took me a year to get the nerve up to use this... I've been using my mother's old machine from the 80's! It would jamb and knot... so I was afraid to try again... but I had to hem my daughter's Prom dress! This machine is AMAZING! Smooth like butter and so easy to use!! Highly recommend.. for beginners or for experienced seamstress. Now I'm excited to try all the other stitches and fun things it came with!!

Good quality starter machine. The printed directions are bad, almost all of the figures were useless as they were not drawn clearly so be ready to watch the videos to set it up.

I have always wanted to sew. It has been a thing for me since I was little because my Grandma always was sewing. My mother-in-law finally taught me how to sew so I ordered this machine. That was 4 years ago and I am STILL in love! I am currently making a quilt for my mother and repairing one for a co-worker. This machine dose it all! I love the different feet and the multitude of stitches available. I cannot wait to one day teach my daughter how to sew and I hope it is with this machine!

Santa brought my 13 year old granddaughter this machine, and I didn’t feel like dragging my heavy Janome that I love over to babysit. I got out this machine and it was easy to read the directions, thread and take off sewing on. I am very pleased with how it handled the denim rag quilt I am making. Wonderful stitches for a small price. Very happy with this purchase. Will be using it anytime I am over babysitting. Thanks Brother for such an affordable, nice easy beginner machine!

I love my sewing machine, I have never sewn before and this was pretty easy to use once I read the directions and youtube. I just keep finding things to sew either making a blanket or a pillow case dress for my granddaughter. Loving this machine.

Love the machine! Easy to use and works great.Only concern/ suggestion would be to change the design of the white font on the light blue background as it is difficult to see the stitches/information

I love my sewing machine! It is so easy to use. And the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Nice machine, affordable, cute. I just wish it came with a case...but then it would be more expensive so, that is ok. I love it!
