This starter works great. No issue installing it. Plenty of power to turn the motor over.

Fit perfect. Seems to crank faster than original. For about $40 vs $200+ for OEM I'm happy. We will see how it holds up.

This starter works very well on my ZTR Kohler Engine. It was very easy to install and I was back up and running within 15 minutes.

The 1st starter failed, the magnets on the interior sidewall ruptured and tore everything up inside. Amazons 30 day policy had expired by 2months. So I contacted the seller and got a immediate response, they asked for pictures, so I did as asked. The next super fast e-mail from them offered a refund or replacement. I chose replacement. Installed and working excellent. The new starter is made by a different manufacturer. Packed much better. Would do business with this seller. Fast response, very easy to deal with. WILL POST IF THE STARTER FAILS.

Say what you will about a low cost replacement but the local dealer was pricing the oem unit at $200 … figured might as well try the china roadWorks great - now it sounds like an old chevy starting with a good battery and a tune upPops right off no grinding of teeth - very smooth.

The original starter on our Kohler 22hp mower was so sluggish and sometimes couldn’t start it at all. This replacement is slightly smaller but it really cranks, and it starts instantly now. Easy to replace too.

After the original shaft broke off. Bolted up, 3 minutes and was on my way. Seems well built and heavy. Will update with longevity.
