They look nice and strong, but they're actually pretty weak (pulling on them directly will often detach them from the laces they're on). That is readily fixed with superglue, though, and they look nice.

I have used these on "no tie shoelaces" and the work very well. I haven't had any issues with these and I have reused them without any problems. If you are making shoelaces out of 1/8" shock cord, these are the zip cords you want.

These seemed to work as expected, maybe not as stiff as I would have liked. Guess we will have to see how they hold up. Replaced the pull tabs in my backpack with some I could see.

Exactly what you need if fixing broken zipper pulls. Pair it with some paracord and zippers are good to go.
