Easy, typical 3 wire hookup. Had a slightly smaller base pattern than my old light so I did have to drill 2 new holes (used 1 of the original). I was a bit worried at first because I covered the light sensor with my finger after hookup and it didn't come on, but I left it mounted anyways because it was hot af and I didnt feel like being on the ladder any longer. Low and behold, it worked perfectly and is MUCH brighter than it seems like it would be. Sensor works perfectly and the light turns on as soon as it starts to get dark and stays on until the sun comes up. Our barn is about 350-400' from the house, and this light illuminates about 100' in front of the barn. Makes it very easy to see whats going on in the pasture. Very happy with this purchase.

Light is great. Bright, adjustable mount to allow more coverage. Bad thing is the wall mount bolt pattern. Have put up at least 20 dusk to dawn and motion sensor flood lights over my 70 years as homeowner and ALL the fixtures have used the same triangular pattern same size pattern. Take one down put new up on same bolts. NOT this one. Some stupid design engineer made a command decision and made mount holes 1/6 too small and 1/8 more narrow. 70 year old at top of 20 foot ladder aint real happy when nothing fits. just a little more irritant in a sand in underwear world. You will need to redrill mount or grind their base to fit. New install will be simple.

Had a old style mercury light it had alot of sun damage on the sensor on top this little light gives a big light out put great deal great lite buy it !

Should work fine for driveway light.

Easy install, but mount bolt pattern was different then the one I replaced. Metal light pole, so I had to drill and tap new holes.

This is a reasonably priced well-made dusk to dawn security light. The fact that it has a hinge really gives it some added flexibility for adjusting the light dispersion. These kind of lights are great for the backyard. Unfortunately the last two that I had only lasted a couple of months each but they were from a different manufacturer. I've had others that have lasted years.

The first issue out of the box there was a defect in the casting, there is a hole on the swivel of lamp mounting stem. The cable entrance hole on mounting stem is located on top. There is no grommet or seal included, rain water can enter stem and chase cable. Cable exit from fixture casting is located on top. No grommet or seal, water may enter fixture.Relatively small size fixture for claimed lumen output. Overall feel is flimsy and cheap. Light output is not as bright as others I have in same area claiming less lumens.There was no cap or means included to override photocell. When turning on light the light comes on, goes off a few seconds then comes back on.
