Good guide but ambiguous language
As ever with the Pathfinder Guides series, this gives a good range of varied walks along with some interesting background information. The maps and descriptions are helpful but the use of ambiguous and sometimes odd language in this specific guide e.g. "Walk away at the edge of a field...", "Walk on at the left edge.." is particularly unhelpful in a book intended to give clear directions. I have not come across this problem in other Pathfinder Guides.

An Excellent Guide
A very helpful guide to walking in a truly beautiful area. The walks are clearly described and are suitably varied in length, difficulty and types of terrain. The maps are small but not really needed anyway because the instructions are clear. We had OS maps with us but did not need to consult them.

Good selection of well-described walks
We walked a good selection of the walks in this book and found the descriptions helpful and accurate. The indication of difficulty or otherwise of each walk together with the overview give a good idea of what to expect. We look forward to picking another part of the area the book covers and doing the relevant walks there some time in the near future.

Nice book
Have only used a couple of the Border walks so far. Good instructions and supporting info on each walk.
